Draft. Large fluffy beige head that leaves lovely lacing, atop clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, spicy, some bread/caramel, grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, bread, grapefruit/orange. Light-medium body, light acidity, low carbonation, fairly drinkable.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear dark and ruddy copper. Slight beige head. Aromas of mild roast malt with citrus and a hint of chocolate. Med body more or less. Flavor is apparently a citrus/pine mix over roast malt. Finishes a bit dusty, and on the mildly bitter, fairly dry side.

Bottle. Poured clear dark ruby hue with medium frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium aroma of earthy hops and malt. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of malt and earthy hops with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Draft... Clear, deep, dark, copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The nose is bursting-at-the-seams with both caramel and roasted nuts. Full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor is nicely balanced between caramely, chocolaty malts and floral, citrusy hops. Short, bittersweet finish (more bitter than sweet).

bottle. clear brick red-tinted cola colored body with a medium-sized tan head of good retention atop a cascading body. bubble gum and pine resin hops with and sharply sweet caramel malt with touches of toasted grain. medium body; syrupy texture; nutty, toasty, husky grains with a lingering bubble gum / tutti-frutti hop flavor. baked sweet bread and amber / resin abound. watery finish late is the weak point.
