Draft at Cicero’s. This was very clear and lightly golden. Not a lot of nose. Some light fruit. This felt like a creamy lager in the mouth. A hint of yeast flavor and some interesting fruit. In truth, there just wasn’t a lot going on here. It would make a nice hot summer beer.

Bottle. Pours a yellow color with white head. Nice aroma of floral, belgian yeast, citrus fruit and malts. Peppery, grainy, malty, bready belgian flavors. I really enjoy this beer as a good sessionable belgian beer, especially during the summer.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear golden with bountiful white head. Aroma is a bitter citrus with some piney notes. Flavor loses much of the citrus and instead takes on more bitter estery qualities. Not the best but pretty good. I preferred Skinny Dip.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Drank this on a hot late spring day. It was perfect for cooling me down as I was working in my backyard on a storage building. Very smooth, citrusy, lightly crisp. This a very good alternative to people who drink fizzy yellow beer. And much tastier!

Bottle from Sweet Grass Dairy. Clear straw pour with loose white head. Fruity Belgian yeast, light tart tropical fruits and grainy malts. Light, somewhat sweet flavor with subtle fruitiness and pale grains. Sessionable, but I have no idea what monk fruit is.
