3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours pale gold with a soapy white head that fades to a rim and coating. Aroma is yeast and grass and hay. Very farm-like. Taste is pale malt, grass, lemon with a slightly bitter hoppy finish. Sour overall. I imagine this beer springing up naturally in a puddle in a field on a farm. Pretty refreshing though.

This was by far the best summer beer in 2013. Fantastic taste. Slight apricot flavor and very refreshing

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden pour, slightly hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is a musty with some lemon zest. Not very ífruityí, more of a pear flavor. Nice, mild citrus aftertaste. Canít quite put my finger on it, but it has a pretty unique character and I enjoyed it.

To be honest, Iím not sure what to make of this ale. Itís refreshing, which makes it an ideal summer beer. Yet, the fruit flavors are rather strange. I admire their balance, though. Color seems a bit too pale, but the mouthfeel is crisp and smooth. This is a good beer, but itís far from being one of my favorites.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Fruity, yeasty aroma. The light yellow color looks like it can be a whitbeer. The taste isnít as light as its color. Starts with a sweer flavor. Ends bland.

Well, itís April, therefore the summer ales gotta be rolliní out! AMIRIGHT?!?!?!?!
Light gold - pretty much polished brass with a fine target pattern of fine bone white foam. Smells of grain, sweet malt and corn and a hint blueberry at the back end. I like the nose. Flavor is grain, hint of belgian yeast, some clean lychee sweetness on the finish that I keep rolling about my mouth. Thin bodied with moderate sharp carb and a semi dry finish. Tasty beer. I donít really get the whole new belgian pale ale quarterly thing theyíre trying right now with different esoteric fruits, but Iím happy to give them a go.
