Rolle Bolle is a wonderfully fun Belgian yard game and a delightfully easy summer ale. Brewed with monk fruit and soursop it stays true to the Belgian tradition of playing with beer and all that goes into it. Roll on.

Fruity, yeasty aroma. The light yellow color looks like it can be a whitbeer. The taste isn’t as light as its color. Starts with a sweer flavor. Ends bland.

On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Stapleton complex of Denver. Pours a yellow color with big head. Light straw aroma. Significant carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Flavors of straw hops, minerals, water, melon rind. Overall very light on malt, light on body, but some hop bitterness.

Best by 25AUG13 Well, it’s April, therefore the summer ales gotta be rollin’ out! AMIRIGHT?!?!?!?! Light gold - pretty much polished brass with a fine target pattern of fine bone white foam. Smells of grain, sweet malt and corn and a hint blueberry at the back end. I like the nose. Flavor is grain, hint of belgian yeast, some clean lychee sweetness on the finish that I keep rolling about my mouth. Thin bodied with moderate sharp carb and a semi dry finish. Tasty beer. I don’t really get the whole new belgian pale ale quarterly thing they’re trying right now with different esoteric fruits, but I’m happy to give them a go.

I had this at Sevens. Pours gold with white head. Taste is funky, wheat, just misses. I thought this was poor. I would pass on this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden and quite light, with just a bit of haziness. Nice frothy and sticky head. Drinks with just a hint of yeast and lemon, but otherwise is a pretty even-keeled, "every day" beer. (#5316, 11/7/2013)

Bottle:   Clear bright straw, large frothy white head, nice lacing, moderate carbonation.   Sweaty fruity aroma, a little mealy.   Somewhat of a fake floral start, perfume, a little like fragrant soap.   Wheaty background.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finish is too artificial, soapy, with sweaty floral notes.   Not terribly bad, certainly a change of pace, but too fake overall.

12oz Bottle. The pour was a lightly cloudy straw yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that eventually reduced to a fluffy puddled film with a large collar, which produced excellent full sheets of lacing.

The aroma was of grain and cereal malts, herbal hops and a soapy Belgian yeast with a bold note of citrus (lemon), a mild vinous scent, a definite fruitiness (must be the monk fruit) and a light peppery spice.

The taste was lightly bitter with a nice fruity sweetness and a creamy malty feel from the start, becoming decently hoppy with a strong citrus presence and just a touch of spice towards the finish. The flavor lasted a tad longer than average following the swallow, with the slightly spicy citrus taste fading slowly off the taste buds.

Mouthfeel was light in body with a creamy, dry texture and a ticklish carbonation.

Overall this is a good summer BBQ brew that I see it pairing very well with some grilled Surf and Turf... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews
