COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rolle Bolle is a wonderfully fun Belgian yard game and a delightfully easy summer ale. Brewed with monk fruit and soursop it stays true to the Belgian tradition of playing with beer and all that goes into it. Roll on.

Sampled at the Texas Craft Brew fest, my score is based off of some incoherent notes and a 2 oz sample.

botte. filtered clear pale gold with a medium-sized white head dying out into a thin white film with patchy, long-lasting lacing. hey, it’s another "Belgian-style pale ale" that smells like dryer sheets, vitamins and makeup powder. the fruit is indistinguishable, if anything there’s a tart prickly pear cactus and common weed / dandelion smell and flavor that it gives the beer. medium-light body with moderate bitterness, low sweetness, grainy malt texture, dull, stale pale malt flavor. crusty, chalky, minerallic, tart, sourish and gross. this foul sort of beer will be pushed as craft on the unsuspecting.

Bottle. Pours deep urine yellow with a medium sized fizzy white head with plenty of sticky lace. Nose of earth, tart fruits, lemon, light citrus and flowers. Similar flavor, fruity upfront with a more grainy, malty finish. More balanced than the tartness from the nose suggests. A little vegetal bitterness in fairly dry finish. A little soapy but not bad.

This looks light enough to be a shandy already! Good lookin’ summer stuff, even if they released it in April. The nose has some fruit to it, a little vegetal and earthy, a little tropical balanced with plenty of grain. In the mouth it is full and slick. There is definitely a bitterness that lingers and more chewy fruit. I like it, especially toward the end of the glass.

Pours light amber. Citrus aroma. Slight taste of hops with citrus taste. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Black Bottle Fort Collins. Pours a clear light yellow appearance with a white head. Spicy, tropical fruity, passionfruit, juicy, peppery aroma. Body is a bit thin. Fairly spicy, a bit watery, big tropical fruity, starfruit flavor that finishes spicy and is pretty refreshing. Not bad but I certainly don’t see myself buying a six pack any time soon.

Strong, but artificial tasting Belgian. It’s good, but not great. I would drink again.

Pours a very light clear golden with a white head. Aroma is of indistinguishable stinky fruits and somewhat sweet. Taste is sweet, fruity, slightly malt with not an overwhelming amount of carbonation. The lack of carbonation actually lets the fruit character shine a little more. Finishes crisp, clean and slightly watery. Overall, not bad and very light. I could see this being refreshing after a hot summer day.

12 oz bottle, part of a six pack bought at Fred Meyer in S.Salem. $6.99 a sixer Pours one of the lightest yellow i have seen in a non macro lager!..head is large, bubbly and strong Aroma is fruity in some way..maybe the soursop..its interesting but light, slight papery aroma also. Peppery ,nutty taste, stronger then the pour or aroma would suggest,,Some cereal and a slight bitter ending. Ok palate again not as thin as one might suspect. Strange beer..light,fruity bitterness..hot weather beer,

12 oz bottle. Very pale and clear with a fluffy white head and nice patchy lacing. The aroma is light tropical fruit, toasted grains, bread, light herbs and some sweetness. Light soft body with a crisp, clean feel. The flavor is somewhat bland with very light sweetness, light yeast, light floral hops and herbs. Somewhat refreshing. I’ll have to revisit this one on a hot, summer day.
