4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Iíve had real Saisonsía from Belgium and France, and I must say, of all the American styles I have tried as well, this one comes closest to the real thing.

12oz bottle from the local Jewel, not really impressed by this one....the aromas were strong but the aftertaste was something of flours....

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden pour with a fair white head leaving a drape of lace. Very yeasty. Earthy. Fruity. Lemon. Orange peel. Banana. Grass. Fairly spicy. A tad sweet. Low bitterness. Pretty dry. Medium body. Good all-around Saison. I may not necessarily seek it out again, but I like it.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautiful bright clear golden straw pour with good, but quick fading, white head. Nose is lightly citrusy and yeasty with hints of clove. Flavor has a slight hop bitter bite which is added at the tail end. Fairly refreshing, but a little thick on the palate. Maybe could use a touch more carbonation? Pretty good though.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a nice Belgian pale ale and a bit on the hoppy side. It is slightly hazed yellow orange and has a fine-bubbled head and little, tiny spots of lace. Fresh fruit and floral notes dominate the nose. I am getting pineapple and grape especially. Plus there is a little bit of clove spiciness which is brought out by the beerís dryness. This is crisp across the palate, light bodied and very flavorful w/ moderately vigorous carbonation. A little bit of cookie dough malt character plays off strong citrus rind bitterness in the finish, bringing out some more zesty citrus flavors. This is a very well put together beer by New Belgium. Tons of flavor, crisp and very drinkable despite being a bit on the strong side. I could drink this all night.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Taster at brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a shitload of lacing. Itís got that Belgian yeast thing on the nose which I wasnít quite expecting. Itís almost sweet on the tongue. It needs some barnyard funk to balance out the sugar. Finished fairly clean. Itís a miss for me.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pretty tasty Saison. If this was available year round I'd probably buy it like I buy their Triple and Abbey to satisfy by Belgian fix(at a cheap price). Hits all the right notes for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy deeper yellow pour with a white head. Slightly spicy, yeast, and a little dry on the tongue. Okay.
