2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is very hoppy for the style and more like an IPA with pine, citrus, and resin. The malts are grainy. The appearance is deep gold with a copper hue and a medium head. The taste is like the aroma but astringent. The palate is smooth. Overall a quality beer but not completely enjoyable.

Pint can into lager glass.

Taste is grainy, malty...some hop bitter.
Not bad at all.....

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from a pint sized can. A clean and refreshing lager. Solid hop bitterness, fruity hop character. Dry finish with a lingering bitterness.

Really nice. The hops cut through and whisper at you. The malt keeps the hops in check but not a light beer. The lagering, the ibu and nelson sauv. make a nice combo and keeps me interested. Overall nice, the aftertaste is main component that will keep me from ordering these again and again.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tin. Pale gold with thin head. Faint malty aroma. Medium bodied, flavour much fuller than the smell. Good amount of hop, you can tell this was honestly made with honest materials. Better than any macro lager.

Are you kidding me? With Sam Adams releasing Alpine Spring, and this deal here...the Craft Brewers are making better lagers than the big boys. Serve these to your Bud/Miller Lite drinking friends. Theyíll dig it the most.
A bit darker than the BMCs - straw-colored. No apparent aroma other than a bit of hay. The hops are awesome - itís not hopped like an IPA - itís hopped like a good lager should be. When I want a standard lager, this is what I expect. By far one of the best lagers Iíve had, commercially, in a while. Thanks, folks!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured into a pint glass.
4.0 A: Clear light orange color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is about average and a good amount of lacing is left.
3.0 S: Grainy malts. Some neutral sweetness, but overall quite dry. Grassy hops. A bit of dirty diaper, but not in a bad way, but rather from earthy hops. Still, not impressive here.
3.0 T: Taste is much like the nose. Grainy malts, grassy hops, mild earthiness. Lightly sweet. It has a decent amount of grassy and earthy flavors, but not a lot of malt overall. Itís a decent brew, but thatís all it is.
3.5 M : Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Crisp and clean without a lot of creaminess.
3.5 D: Decent, easy drinking brew, but there are better ones out there.
Serving type: can

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is a little bit sweet and malty. Clean pale malt and a touch of noble hoppiness. Simple brew, but fairly decent.

Enjoyed from can at Township in Chicago, IL while watching the band Treasure Fleet. I didnít pour this into a glass so I canít comment on the appearance. From what I remember the aroma it was a little similar to Fat Tire but maybe a little more grassy. Taste was pretty good considering the cost per ounce, equal parts grassy and malty, somewhat light, one of the better beers for the style. Iíd definitely have it again, and I just think the packaging looks pretty sweet on this one.
