3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good beer, and definitely a full mouthful, but other than the strong hops, I found the flavor lacking. It seems they covered a watery beer with a full dose of hops.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the Millstream Inn. It poured a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma was sweet with hops and some orange zest notes. The taste was similar to the aroma with more zest that added some nice character to this beer. Nice.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle poured a clear golden hue w/ a very large white fizzy head. Light lime and bread dough aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold bitter finish of short duration. Tastes are lime and straw. Medium bodied, good mouthfeel and lively carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a two finger head of fizzy white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a fantastic level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass
Smell – The aroma of the beer is strongest of a grainy and grassy smell mixed with just a hint of a bready smell. Along with these there is a little bit of a sweet fruity and corn like smell.
Taste – The taste begins very crisp and clean with a bit of a grainy and somewhat cracker like taste. There is a hint of a fruitiness upfront which fades rather fast. As the sweet fades, a little bit of a grassy and floral hop taste greet the tongue, leaving one with a rather crisp and clean lager flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the light and crisp flavors of the beer the feel is spot on and makes for a very easy drinking brew.
Overall – A nice alternative to a bud light. It has a bit more flavor and a nicer hop hit. For the few extra calories (if you are looking out for your calorie count I think it is around 10 or so more), this is a fantastic alternative to the traditional light beer.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I had low expectations of this, based on the last few seasonals that I tried from New Belgium...especially the spring/summer ones. This is actually one of the better ones from them. A blonde ale with a gold-amber appearance. Thought it was a lager....tastes sort of like a pilsner....listed as a blonde ale. Sounds about right. Bottles says brewed with pecan juice which gives it some extra flavor. Reminded me of a lighter version of Lazy Magnolias Southern Pecan. Sampled a single for now, but I’d get a 12-pack of this in the summer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Not sure why this is called a Belgian. As a session APA, it’s wonderful. A bit watery, but for the low ABV, I’m ok with that.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma and flavor consist of a clean, neutral malt profile, soft hop bitterness, light fruit notes, and faint yeast esters. Light and clean.
