My least favorite from this brewer. Itís drinkable, but there was an off putting fruit flavor and effervescence that didnít sit weíll. in a pinch, Iíd drink it...over a bud light

06.22.14 Enjoy by date. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 04.21.14. A: 1 finger head. Straw yellow with a yeast cloud at the top. S: Lemon, flower. Sweet smelling. T: Lemon, wheat. M: Creamy smooth. O: The flowery hops are just too subtle. There is not much complexity here, either. It did taste good, not great, but it was drinkable.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (grain, corn starch), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a strong note of lemon zest/juice. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky/starchy. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Itís more or less a one-trick pony in the nose, lemon is by far the most dominant odor, and the malt is rather crude/rough/starchy as well. Quite tart in the mouth, but in a refreshing way, nicely balanced...sadly the aftertaste is kind of grainy/husky/starchy, as portended by the nose. Light and watery as well. Average or so.

12 oz bottle. It pours a hazy pale yellow color with a very small quickly vanishing white head. It has a slightly sour aroma with a bit of wheat and lemon. This beer is very nice. I really want to try it again when itís warmer outside. It tastes like banana, clove, lemon & citrus with a sour lemon aftertaste. Iím glad I bought this and would buy it again.

The lacto aspect is an interesting surprise, and not too much. Reminiscent of Berliner Weiss etc. I can see how this would be very refreshing and satisfying on a hit day.

A very bright citrusy Hef. Pours a light cloudy golden yellow color with the aroma of lemon. Did I say lemon? The lemon nose carries over and the beer is nearly overpowered by citrus notes, but then the wheat kicks in for a fine finish. I imagine this to be a great summer beer.

Somewhat flat with a subtle wheatish seemingly artificial flavour. Maybe great in summer heat, I'll wait till after spring thaw to try another.

Drank from the bottle. Aroma is comprised of yeast, banana, clove, and bread. Taste is much the same. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a sticky mouth feel. No matter how much I try I cannot get into this style.

bottle @ Jungle Jimís / Eastgate OH --- Aroma of malt and light spice; cloudy light amber color, white head cover, hanging strands of lace. Taste is wheat and malt that adds spice on the swallow, with a little bittering in the finish. A light, tasty brew, it works for me.
