3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Aromas of cut grass, citrus, banana, and spice. Flavors are citrus--loads of citrus--white grapes, cut grass, spice, and bready tones. Finishes with hints of pepper and spice. Light mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very refreshing summer wheat, but itís overloaded with citrus. It leans more toward a radler than a typical wheat. It would be great at at picnic or on a hot day, but itís just a bit citrusy for my palate.

Yuck!!! Just not right! Not wheaty- just citrusy, really sour, watery, tart....bleh. More like a diluted sweet fruit drink than a wheaty, complex brew. Gross.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. BB 23/Nov/14. (Martin's) Winchester, VA.
Cloudy pale golden colour with a small white head.
Wheat, mild yeast, mild fruit and sweetness in the aroma.
The flavour is citric hops, mild acidity, wheat smoothness and some sweetness. Strange flavour for a Wheat Ale.

Bottle. Pours a hazy straw. Thin fizzy head leaves some spotty lacing. Aromas of straw, yeast, and lemon. Taste is pale malts, wheat, and lemon. Medium-light body with low carbonation. Slightly dry and tart in finsh. A decent American Wheat with a distinct lemon touch.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits and poured into a Weizen glass. Color is a cloudy, but pale golden amber with a one finger white foam head with slight head retention but a good amount of lacing. Aroma on the nose is tart/fruity mixed with a yeast smell. Taste is lightly bitter but fairly smooth overall with a slight tart finish with a slight wheat aftertaste. Mouthfeel is of a sticky, light body with more of a lively carbonation level. This is a nice, refreshing Belgian beer for a nice warm sunny day. Better than some, but there are better brews out there in this style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Another beer that is extremely light in color (it seems to be a trend among mainstream micros), yellow with white head. Satisfying enough but deathly plain except for a sweet edge. (at Ale Jail Anniversary Party 2014)
