This new beer from New Belgium was very crisp and refreshing. It was very yellow as well. Unfilitered Wheat will do that, apparently. Good flavor though, I drank two.

Dåse: Flot lysegul klar øl. Tydelig duft af citra og en tand hvede. Langsomt bliver den dog en tand for parfumeret. Klassisk amerikansk hvedeøl men den bliver for sød og for parfumeret i længden.

This beer delivers on its claim of tartness. It is ultimately in the vein of a shandy or other fruit-beer cocktail, but falls short of providing a satisfying experience due to the mixed signals provided by the sharp tart taste, hay-like aftertaste, and nondescript aroma and appearance.

Shot (116) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2014
Pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Aromas of cut grass, citrus, banana, and spice. Flavors are citrus--loads of citrus--white grapes, cut grass, spice, and bready tones. Finishes with hints of pepper and spice. Light mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very refreshing summer wheat, but it’s overloaded with citrus. It leans more toward a radler than a typical wheat. It would be great at at picnic or on a hot day, but it’s just a bit citrusy for my palate.

Wheat with a hint of lemon, and with a pleasant tart finish as advertised. Refreshing summer beer, reminds me of summer shandy.

Light Lemony smell...cloudy beer....very malty no hops taste, slightly acidic...very tasty though, light malt, nice and light...reminds me of lemonade!

Bottle, drank in the 31 degree heat of the Medicine Hat sun. Hazy light yellow, puffy white head that leaves scant lace. Wheaty, slightly sweaty aroma. Clean wheaty palate, light, with a kiss if lime citrus tartness in the finish. Not breaking any records, but doing the job that’s required just fine.

Draught at Old Chicago. Hazy pale yellow color, white head. Bittersweet taste with citrus, wheat, grass and peach. Bittersweet finish with citrus, wheat and grass. Good wheat ale.

pours hazy light golden, with a small head. Has a citrusy aroma, it’s lightly sour, with a hint of lemon. light body, soft carbonation. I liked it quite a bit.

Can, hazy golden pour with a white head. Aromas of yeast and wheat. Flavor is similar with a nice lemon zing at the end. Very drinkable and refreshing. Great on a summer day.

355ml can from Saveur-Biere

BBE 13 JUL 14 - Pours hazy yellowish with a large white head. Aroma of tart wheaty notes, yeast, spices and earthy notes. Taste is malty, wheaty and slightly spicy with some yeast and earthiness. Finish is yeasty, earthy and slightly fruity with some spicy notes. A bit unbalanced and stuffy.
