This new beer from New Belgium was very crisp and refreshing. It was very yellow as well. Unfilitered Wheat will do that, apparently. Good flavor though, I drank two.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light golden color. Pretty hazy. Hard to notice carbonation because of the haziness. Poured into weizen glass, so gives nice thick three finger head. Poofy and white, looks like a cloud. Even so, doesnít last long. Reduces to light film with clumps. Decent splotchy lacing.
Aroma is actually reminding me of Belgian ale. Wheaty, banana, slightly sour. I smell coriander, light pepper. Light floral hops. Maybe a touch of lemon zest.
Taste is cracker, banana, light pepper. Slight citrus tartness, maybe like a splash of lemon juice. Not very complex, but pretty tasty.
Mouthfeel is light and slightly dry. Itís easy to drink, and refreshing. Decent carbonation on the tongue. Itís also a little salty on the swallow.
Overall this is pretty good. Itís not complex, and itís easy to drink. Itís a summer beer, after a hot afternoon youíre not going to want to sit and ponder too much on your beer. You just want to drink it. It fits the bill. However, Iíve taken the time to ponder for you. Itís good, but you know that by now. Nothing amazing, nothing special, nothing spectacular, nothing to brag about. Average wheat beer, but itís worth trying. I would probably buy it again, I would recommend it, but only as a refreshing beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of pale wheat malt, light fruits, fruity hops. Flavor of bready wheat malt, light fruits, apple, earthy hops. I wouldnít call this tart. It is a fruity, light wheat beer, lightly hopped.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Nose is indeed quite tart, lemony and dense with hints of a metallic future. Pour hazy bright yellow with a large rocky and jiggly-oily bright white head, lace. Surprisingly clean taste, not as tart as expected (barely at all!) with a grainy start that resolves to a bready finish, rather nice. Fruit backed off almost entirely but there is a nice wheat essence here, sharp and lively, with little touches of fresh lemon and vanilla. Full body but in no way heavy, again clean and vital, urgent in its simplicity, one of the more refreshing beers Iíve had this summer. [2016.08.12: 3.6]

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from the Philadelphia Zoo. Pretty good outdoorsy type drink. Not sessionable for me...too sweet, cloying and metallic. Bitter malt finish is odd. The tart was a nice accompaniment to the wheat. Sub-par
