4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bottle into a pint glass a clear light yellow with a huge thick white pillow top head.
Aroma is lemony light hops.
Flavor is slightly tart yet quite sweet. Definitely got the Belgium malt here. Very smooth & balanced. The somewhat bitter finish would lead one to thick metallic but nope its the hops. Extremely drinkable. Balanced well. Easily would buy a 6 pack of this to sip on after a long bike ride or at a summer picnic.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
New Belgium Spring Blonde has a thick, white head, a clear, bubbly (etched glass), straw appearance, and fairly heavy lacing left on the glass (it looks like Budweiser!). The aroma is of sweet, white bread and some sort of fruit (cantaloupe?). Taste is of mild, sweet, white bread, with a pleasant, straight-forward hop bitterness coming through in mid-sip. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and New Belgium Spring Blonde finishes crisp, refreshing, easy going, and mellow. It reminds me of a kolsch, in some ways. Overall, this is delicious, and I recommend it. RJT

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear brilliant gold under a sticky foamy white head. Brilliant nose of blonde cereal tones, belgian tree fruit and a wee touch of sweet green onion. Full palate with a calming blonde malty body, some light pepperiness, belgian esters of dusty tree fruit and a very mild grassiness. Pretty lovely, and a lot more than I expected.

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a great session beer. Its exactly what I was looking for in a light summer beer. The new Belgium web site says the ibus are 48 but it doesn’t come across that hoppy.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear golden color. Thin white head with good lacing. Slight hops and lots of belgian yeast in the nose. That along some caramel in the flavor. Refreshing.

Trying out the New Belgium lineup as these are just now available in AL. Very refreshing and crisp with lemon and grassy notes. Overall, I really enjoy this brew and can see keeping it on hand as the weather starts to warm up.

On tap. Nice fruity aroma and taste with a crisp mouthfeel. My wife does not normally drink craft beers, but she liked this one.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral, herbal hops and pale malts. The taste is pale crackery malts, herbal hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation, simple, well balanced.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Hyper filtered yellow-orange body. Foamy, lacy white head. Really clean, really fresh, and really refreshing to have a NG beer that doesn’t feature a new wacky adjunct. Sort of strikes me as lager-like, in that in has rich, subtle malt tones, not unlike a Hellerbock in some respects, but the mild fruity yeast remind you of it is an Ale. Clean, well done beer, albeit a little hollow and not that extreme or exciting.
