Commercial Description:
Ale brewed with wormwood, goji berries, and schisandra. Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. Springboard combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Some doughy yeast aroma. Looks like a wit, little more gold. Sweet, not a lot of balance. Thick body, surprised the alcohol didn’t cut through more? Not really sure on this one...hard to peg...not bad, mostly interesting because it is different...

Bottle. Poured cloudy blonde with big foamy white head. Faint vegetable aroma, like a salad. Tart flavour with more vegetable overtones. Thin mouthfeel. Flat finish, like a lime carbonated soda. Not to be damned, but I can’t praise this one either.

Strangely colored, and strangely flavored - has an almost greenish tinge and is just delicately clouded. Less weighty than many blondes, and quite drinkable. It’s probably a love / hate thing, but I’m definitely falling on the ’love’ side.

funky yeasty/lemon/ waxy on nose-not appealling at all. on palate weisse-like but very light, a little malty on finish, balance not right. they keep churning out this stuff, it will test their name-recognition & their marketing dept. imho their best seasonal offering is their skinny-dip

This beer poured a nice clear straw color, excellent white head with great retention, laced the glass. Aroma was very good, nice floral and fruity notes, kinda hard to tell apart. Flavor was unique, nice, fruity, hoppy flavor with a very balanced bitterness at the end. I was pretty impressed......Even told the wife about it....

slight citrus taste and aroma one of the better spring brews out there with a crisp finish

I thought this was great. The taste is very like a cider, with an apple level that never leaves. The advertised dryness keeps it from getting silly, but certainly a sweet beer. Also a very slight note of mint, and the dryest under-ripe strawberry.

Very interesting. Aroma is of burnt hay, resin and skunk, not to pleasent. Appearnce is a medium ever so slightly hazy yellow with a nice creamy white head with good lacing. The flavor is nutty, spicey and wheaty. The mouthfeel is creamy until the dry finish with fizy carbonation. A nice but very different Hefeweizen.
