Ale brewed with wormwood, goji berries, and schisandra. Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. Springboard combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

12oz bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that leaves decent lacing. Smells of berries, citrus, grass, and mild hops. Tastes of all the same things. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this is a pretty good beer. The use of odd ingredients pays off. Too bad they discontinued it. Glad they brought it back for their spring mix pack this year.

Primarily a fruity aroma. A hazy light yellow with a white head. The taste of fruit with a hint of citrus. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, not a favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle pours a hazy golden color with decent lasting white head. Aroma is not strong but has some unusual flavors. I wouldn’t know what goji berries and schisandra taste like out of this beer, but there is a ginger-like flavor along with some mild hop bitterness. Body is light to medium with a creamy mouthfeel and only slight carbonation. Interesting, refreshing, and easy to drink, but I won’t seek this one out again.

Can't say I like it ... Can't exactly say what they were going for... Just can't visualize it so well.. It's almost refreshing but weird ... Almost enjoyable first taste then gets strange... Tart... Maybe a hot day fast drinker but can't really get into this... Yet ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear gold with a 2-finger head that dissipates quickly and no lacing. Aroma is grapes and bread. Taste is semi tart with grapes, bread, and yeast. Very refreshing beer.

12-oz. bottle dated best by 14 July 2013 served in a snifter. Poured a golden-straw color. Hazy with a small and semi-durable white head that leaves a moderate amount of lacing on the sides. Contains schisandra, an unfamiliar herb/berry used in Chinese medicine which I had to look up and goji berries. Aroma: Quite fruity, complex, pleasing and refreshing. The fruitiiness is unusual, but one of the stronger notes reminded me of raspberry jam. Bready. Hops too, but these are more obvious upon tasting. Taste: Lightly sweet, bitter and tart. Components are similar to the nose, again with high complexity. M: medium-light body. Medium, very soft carbonation. Slightly dry and crisp finish.. O: a unique and interesting fruit/herb beer well worth trying.

Pours a light gold - moderate haze - fairly thick lace - odd but interesting aroma of lemongrass, cedar, tart fruit, light honey - creamy texture, low carbonation - medium dry flavor - an odd, earthy bitterness, possibly from the wormwood - moderate vegetal notes - soapy flavors - chalky finish, with some herbal tea notes - a sloppy potpourri of flavors here.
