Commercial Description:
Ale brewed with wormwood, goji berries, and schisandra. Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. Springboard combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Cloudy straw yellow with a meringue-esque white topper that hangs out for a spell. Aroma of grains, fruit and spices, I’m assuming the odd ones they list on the bottle and some underlying sweetness. Taste of earthy hops, Chinese herbs and spices, lemon, grain, fruit and apple. Body is a bit chalky but overall somewhat interesting brew.

A yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma not bad but nothing really stands out. Good bitter with some breadiness and I think oak? Foamy and medium bodied but not bad at all.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow golden color with a small frothy white head. The aroma is a sour wheat and light malt. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a hoppy citrus and spice with a dry finish. A decent herb brew from New Belgium.

I was more impressed with what it was brewed with more than anything. It is decent, and I am glad I tried it out. Nothing special, though.

Another brew courtesy of some kind of phriends: Pours a bright golden colour, not too cloudy. Aroma is sweet and enticing, noticeable wheat and ripe gojis which i loved- Taste was smooth, light and creamy with nice berry character, semi sweet wheat and tropical tones. Awesome beer :)

Tasted somewhere along my trip through the States.
Cloudy yellow colored brew. Spicy and herbal aroma. Flavor is herbal and grassy, spicy and sweet malty touch. Interesting.
