Commercial Description:
Ale brewed with wormwood, goji berries, and schisandra. Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. Springboard combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Heavily hazed straw color with a moderate fluffy white head. Aromas of raw wheat, lime zest, dry yeast and lemon grass. Heavy flavors of pale malt and oats linger throughout the quaff. Key limes, white grapes and a generic bitterness wanders in and out of the grains. A funky herbal brew.

Mmm.. Pours hazy pale gold with a minimal cream head. Aromas of raspberries, mango, butter, spice. Flavor is instantly reminiscent of creamed corn - but in a good way - and quickly segues into pleasant herbal hoppiness with a tinge of alcohol. Not really well-balanced, but pleasing nonetheless.

12 oz bottle, best before July 15 07.
Hazy yellow, with a fluffy white head and sticky lace.

Aroma is citrusy with some fruity bubblegum, and a spice I can’t pin down.

Flavor is woody, citrusy, herbal.

Finish is dry with an herbal character.

12oz bottle. pours pale straw color with white head. nose is very faint, straw with very subtle berries. taste is of stale cereal, mild sweetness from berries, but those are very faint. this is pretty odd and not good.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a cloudy, pale pilsener golden with a small, white head - looks pretty much like a Belgian Wit. Sweetish, fruity, berry-like aroma. Medium body, sweetish, lightly malty with very fruity accents. Also in the flavours this reminds me mostly of a Belgian Wit although with a completely different spicing - more exotic. The finish is quite bitter. Interesting. 280307

Bottle. Slightly spicy average ale with a funky flavor. Not my favorite from this brewery.

Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Smells of lemons, oranges, spices, grassy, doughy and slightly bitter. Tastes of oranges with grassy hints, dough and some underlying bitterness. Mouthfeel is tingly and tangy. Finish is slightly bitter. An interesting experiment, but it doesn’t live up to many of their other beers.
