Commercial Description:
Ale brewed with wormwood, goji berries, and schisandra. Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. Springboard combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

I found this beer a nice change of pace for NBB. I really liked the flavors that this beer gives, along with the great nose. I found it easy to drink on these warmer spring days here in Colorado where we still have a little nip in the air. Nice sourness with a dry finish. Well done.

Another great label from the folks at NBB. Pours hazy and golden with a fleeting white head. Strong aromas feature spicy hops, spicebox, and some dark fruit... plums... Palate is dry but drinkable, with a nice balance of hops and malts. It’s the light taste that clashes a bit with the malts in here. The spicing is a little hot. Good hop presence, though. Fresh, different.

(03/2007. 355ml Bottle.). Hazy, straw colored beer with white head that dissipates to nothing very quickly. Malty sweet aromas with a hint of spiciness. Doughy flavor with a hint of spiciness. Medium fizzy and medium-light bodied. Finishes quite dry. Drinkable, but ...

12oz bottle via trade with legion242 - Thanks! - Pours pale golden and quite cloudy with a short white fizzy head. Aromas of bread, some fruity berries, and some mild grassy hops. Flavor is quite dougy with also a little bit of berry flavor blended in and just a touch of spice. Palate is quite fizzy and light. Pretty crisp though.. Interesting beer and pretty drinkable I thought..

A placid, slightly cloudy pale gold, fluffy white head. Pleasant aroma of fruit, bread. Initially a slight bitterness, full-bodied but soft, sour, dry yeasty longish finish. Interesting, but a bit odd, and overall just ok.

Very interesting brew, not sure how to describe it, but I will. Color is a VERY pale and VERY cloudy yellow. Very light, refreshing mouth feel. Mildly toasty aroma with some fruitiness. Taste of soft wheat, berries, and some mild earthy hops. Tastes very light, the 6.2 ABV surpises me.

12 oz bottle via Arctic Liquors Beer of the Month club. Pours a hazy dishwater blonde. Nose is coriander, ginger and wheaty. Wow this tastes spicey. So spicey it is hard to taste ANY malt or hops underneath it all. Coriander, ginger, pepper, lemon are predominant. Light/medium body. High carbonation. Too much spiciness. A couple drinks of this one is more than enough.

If you are from the NW, it is similar tasting to Mac and Jacks, but you can buy it in the store!!!! The color is weak....it reminds me of corona, but the flavor is good. Plus its 6.2%
