Commercial Description:
Ale brewed with wormwood, goji berries, and schisandra. Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. Springboard combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Looks like a pilsner-wit sort of contraption. Ah, "cloudy blonde," that makes sense. Cloudy yellow, bubbly brew. Nice smells. Interesting! Almost a sweet sort of bitter to this. Fruity? Citrus? No? Oooooh, THOSE are the goju berries. Neat aftertaste. Thumbs up to New Belgium for doing something this different.

Nice spicy little number. Pours clear yellow with streamers of carbonation from the bottom. Aroma is of malt and spices. I taste coriander and a few other spices. Not a bad drinker.

Clearish yellow with huge white lasting soapy head and thick lacing. Subtle doughy smell. Doughy lager flavor as well. Watery and a strange spice aftertaste. Not horrible but not my bag baby.

Pours a pale yellow with big white head. Nothing very exciting, but drinkable enough. Not much flavor or aroma to be had here. A little hops, but not much. Kinda average.

this is a strange thing. not strange in a cool way, its just hard to classify. so, i named it "eclectic ale". since it has too much hops to be a golden ale, but has too little to be a pale ale. i think the wormwood is just a sales pitch, along with most of the stuff on the label. its not that great. drinkable, but not at the price. ill stick with their 1554 and Fat Tire.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Dry flowery aroma. Flavour is indistinct. Wouldn’t really call this an ale - a week American hefe maybe.

12 oz bottle pours a hazy golden with thin white head. Sweet, floral aroma. Flavor is citrus, floral, and in some ways medicinal.

On tap at Trainwreck Saloon. Poured a murky yellow color with puffy white head. Taste was very unusual, but nothing exciting going on. Very average brew.
