Crystal clear yellow pour with a medium sized white head. Light citrus aroma with a good amount of bready malt. Active carbonation and a somewhat lively mouthfeel. Flavor is primarly bread/cereal malts. Crisp finish. Pleasant enough but not very exciting.

New Belgium Summer Helles is a clear pale golden beer with a fine head of small white bubbles that are constantly rising to the top. The nose is clean and clear mild malt and maybe some citrus. Hops are fairly held in check. Taste is light, clean and reminiscent of lightly roasted oats. The hops are present throughout and are more prevalent than one would suspect based on the nose. A good clean and refreshing summer beer.

On tap at Finnegan’s for trivia. Cloudy, muddled blonde pour. Creamy, corny, slight perfume, buttery finish. Cream ale body, full and fizzy.

Very clear, disturbingly so. No head. Skunky aroma. Typical lager taste, not bad, but needs more flavor.

Draft at the hub at DEN. Pours a crystal gold color with a decent white head. Grassy aroma with a slight hint of malt. Light taste. Malty. Crisp. Honestly, could not tell this from a Coors Light.

Tap at BW3’s. Pours a clear bright yellow color with a small fizzy head. Aroma is pretty decent. Nice clean malt with some noble hops. Tastes a bit watery though. Dry, spicy hops come off a bit stale but not too bad. Crisp finish. Decent Helles.

Bottle. Clear yellow pour with a thick white head. Aroma of funky malt and slight noble hop. Sweet malt flavor with slight hop character before a sweet finish.

This has an extremely pale yellow body with a slender white head. I almost have to dip my nose into the beer to catch the aroma. There’s a faint sweet grain scent along with a suggestion of grasses. The flavor is a bit stronger, but not by much, fairly faithfully reflecting the nose. Fizzy. The one is just a little too light for me all around.
