3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Coriander and orange peel evident--refreshing. A rather light bodied beer, however, and is lacking in substance. Citrus flavor, slightly sweet, but more wheat needed I think.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2003 Heeyyy...I'm 21 as of tonight and this is my first legal beer (minus the Pike Kilt Lifter I had before it and the beer I drank in Canada after the age of 19). I think this had a lot going for it despite it's incredibly light nature. This aspect alone would inevitably bring with it bad appearance and palate ratings, but after it was poured I had sudden flashbacks of unpleasant encounters with the Porch Swing. This beer; however, although not a Scorpio, was rather tasty. Lemon peel was the most pervasive flavor, but hops definitely shone through, as well as a burnt orange flavor that I now can attribute to the coriander after reading the description. Refreshing, but hey it's almost winter, I need refurbishing.

Should be renamed "Watery Wit". Not particularly lemony or corianderish (is that a word?). Disappointing - and I generally love witbiers.

Very good. Not quite up to the standards of the old Celis White, but still a good choice. The coriander & orange are evident but subtle.

Light gold color, small head. A lighter tasting, mild flavored wheat beer. Light malts and hops. Light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly malty.

This brew is definitely different, with an almost overpowering orange peel flavor. All in all a good beer, but not one I’d like to drink in large quantities.

This is a really good summer beer. Pairs quite well with Orange Roughy. This one is easy to drink and readily available

Nice summer beer. Unique in orange and citrius flavors. Not as heavy as I was expecting, but a good beer.

A pretty mild wit beer, with some nice citrus notes. Like Fat Tire from NB an easy beer to drink by the 6-pack.
