Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of nice grapefruit, citrus, earth, piney notes into a hint of grass, woodsy, rye like notes in there, with a touch of caramel. Taste is a mix of wood, grass, and pine, some spice, earth, into grapefruit, orange, finishing fairly bitter. Nice.

Nice golden color with sheet of white foam and a centrally located dome. Smells of alcohol, vines, mint, weed, grass and peppercorns. Tastes sweet, alcoholic, some bitterness, some grass and some melons. Medium bodied with low carb and semi slick. Meh, not nearly my favorite of the series. Serving type: bottle 10-22-2012

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Spicy coconut aroma. Medium body, some sweet tropical fruit and then a shitload of spicy Sorachi Ace notes leading to a massive bitterness. Intriguing. 230213

Hazy golden-amber color with medium sized compact head. Nice aroma, some cream and lemon (hint of Sorachi Ace). Lean, dynamic mouthfeel, quite dry; good toffee flavor and very good lemony hopping; cream. Resiny final.
Harmonious, vibrant, balanced; excellent.

Bottle:   Orangish straw, very hazy, moderate frothy off-white head, decent lacing.   Hoppy nose, a bit citrusy, fairly bright and fresh.   Big citrus oriented IIPA, slightly floral, a lot of pith on the backside.   Even after a few months of release, it comes across as a little green still.   Faint gummy candyish bit.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Green finish, but not overly biting, hoppy, pithy, some citrus notes.   Not as big as what I was expecting, but certainly some fire and freshness for what it is.

Bottled. Pours viscous hazy dark orange with a medium size head. Good retention, decent lace. Aroma and palate is heavy on the orange peel and citrus. Medium sweet. Plenty of light caramel-meal malt base. Med-full bodied IPA with the orange peel adding to the dry bitterness on the finish. I don’t get any fresh hop elements.
