Draft. Poured a hazy dark golden color with an average fizzy frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate rye, earthy citrus and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a slick smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Bottled. Pours hazy dark orange with a short head. Decent retention and watery lacing. Sweet pink bubblegum and light Belgian spiced aroma. Minimal rye and hops on the nose. Light sweet flavor. Good body for its ABV. Med thick, creamy texture and a dry, sticky finish.

Bomber bought at Super 1 in CDA, ID. Pours hazy deep gold/bordering on copper with a medium collapsing white head. Aroma is doughy, floral, cotton candy. Taste starts out sweet and savory before a light bitterness sets in. A nice clove character comes out after it warms a bit. Carbonation is fairly soft, mouthfeel is a bit oily, body is medium. Tasty.

Draft @ Elysian Fields. Hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of spicy Belgian yeast, sweet sugary malt, citrus and rye bread. Flavor is sweet and malty with spicy rye and black pepper, light alcohol. Medium body with average carbonation. Not a big fan of this, kind of all over the place.

650 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours a cloudy brass color with a small white head that slowly fades to a fine film. The aroma is a bit understated with grass, floral and Belgian yeasts. The taste is complex with yeasts, pepper, white fruits, citrus and biscuit. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: a decent Saison.

Tap at Elysian, Seattle, 27/05/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin white head which dissipates edgeward. Nose is grass, bretts, yeast esters, bitter orange, farmhouse tones. Taste comprises grass, spice, good dose of bretts, barnyard, light funk, bitter tangerines, lemon rind, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte fruit and funk as the curtain falls. Decent saison - good stuff.

On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Golden orange and clear with an off-white head. The aroma is cereal, rye, hops, sweet malts, spices and sugar. Similar flavor. Light to medium body with a smooth feel. Tasty and refreshing, nice touch with the rye.

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours light gold with white foam. Smells sweet of honey, a little lemon and oats. Tastes sweet with good mouthfeel, hints of honey, oats and a hint of peppercorns. Ends slightly tanniny, but doesn’t really taste of rye.

Draught. Cloudy colour, white head. Spice in the aroma, pepper in the finish. Flavour is rather like a roggenbier. Try it if you see it. Tastes lower in alcohol than it is.
