Aroma is of a witbier - sprices and fruit. Flavor is the same, but more so. Very, very fruity. Sweet, yeasty, tasted very much like a cross between a tripel and a wit. Odd, and not what I was expecting at all. Drinkable, but a bit too "unique." lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a golden color with a small amount of white foam. Sweet yeast and light citrus/spice in the aroma. Taste is of sweet rolls, light caramel, some fruit (apple, pear), and a faint tangerine note. Didn’t really get the woody overtone described in the commercial description. Medium carbonation level, without much alcohol in the taste. Refreshing, and highly drinkable. nbutler11 (741), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 28, 2008 Pours amber with the slightest tinge of orange. Moderate head that keeps fizzing with bubbles from bottom of glass. Mild, mild hint of banana/clove of a German hefe. Finishes smooth. Virtually no aftertaste; maybe a hint of sweet. Cannot taste the alcohol for the 7.8%. An excellent brew. durhambeer (1200), Durham, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Clear golden pour with orange tint. Bubbly one-finger white head. Slightly perfumy/powdery nose with hints of dirt/earth and stronger hints of yeast and apricots. Sweetness hits hard at first but mellows a bit as one drinks. Surprisingly alcoholic tasting for not even 8%. Disappointing finish.
