Commercial Description:
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a nice head. Aroma is bland with alcohol notes. Doesn’t strike me as a tripel at all. Lacks flavor and very dry overall. I’m a much bigger fan of the 2 below.

12 oz bottle (thanks A-Rod). pours a shimmering orange-amber hue with a rich frothy head. lacing is above average for the american ’’belgian-style’’. the nose is almost overwhelming and full of banana creme, juicy orange/mixed citrus rind, faint vanilla, and...damn, more citrus. all in all, its aromas give off an impression that this is a lively dame. the flavor yields more yeasty flavors, continued citrus (mostly likened to tangerine), slightly bitter euro hops, faint apricot, and, an orange cream soda. on the palate, it’s silk...soft, slightly sweet, and a creamy texture that is lightly creamy. that tangerine flavor just really doesn’t go away, and manages to make the ale come off almost too fruity, but nonetheless, this is an excellent tribute to the tripel. yay for a case of this juice!

Sampled at Axillas. Pour was golden with a white head. Aroma was of belgian yeast, sweet. I got hints of bubble gum, or cotton candy in the flavor. Also solid notes of citrus. Not bad.

Pours a very clean dark yellow colo body with a big sticky white head. The aroma is sweet candied sugar with some tropical fruits and sweet Belgian yeast. The flavor starts with a mild astringant lime taste thats followed by a fruity malt and sweet bread flavor with a lot of cotton candy in the finish. Not as sweet as a lot of trippels but def’n close.

Sampled blind at "Better Know a Style: Abbey Tripel". Pours orange with a small white head. Yeast, caramels, toffee and vanilla in the nose. Sweet flavors that aren’t overly so. Toffee caramel, bourbonish alcohol, balanced. Tasty and creamy. Finishes slightly dry. I like the balance of alcohol, sweet, and dry. Out of the 26 beers, this one places fourth overall for me.

From bottle : Pours a clear, rather light golden yellow color, with a half finger of white foamy head that dies fast. Lacing isnt too bad. Nose of sweet malt, bread dough, yeast, and some citrus notes. The taste is crazy sweet, and very bitter. Medium body and quite a bit of carbonation, this is just way to sweet and bitter for a belgian, i think it is awful.

a clear deep gold color and a medium white head. it has a sweet yeast bread and light floral aroma. medium body and light carbonation. honey bread flavor with an apple banana fruitiness, and light spicy, floral hop bitterness. pretty good well balanced, malt flavors are more prominent than most tripels

Bottle. Clear golden with thin white head which clears out quickly. Mellow pear and melon aromas. Smooth, soft palate. Tastes of bread, straw, and cantelope. Finishes of dry malt. Good American trippel .
