Commercial Description:
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Pour was crystal clear pale copper with a thin white head that evaporated quickly and didn’t offer up much in terms of lacing. The aroma was malt, spice and fruit with a thin bit of yeast. The flavor was pepper, yeast, clove and malt with some sweetness barely balancing the flavor out. Overly carbonated but went down fairly easy.

Bottle(12oz). Shared with biegaman and blankboy, blankboy’s bottle. Pale clear gold, small white head (3-). Aroma’s initially a bit "ass" - then pils hops, light fruit malt, some alcohol - not good. Taste - mild okay tripel, light fruit malt, decent hops, banana in the finish. Light sticky body, spice and mild carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Meh.

Pretty good beer. Wonderful aroma and a great citrusy taste that makes my mouth dance with delight. Glad I could steal this from my roommate.

My 200th rating. Pours a nice yellow golden color. Bubbles persists throughout. Small white oily head. Not a lot of nose but tastes nicey and wheaty and fruity. Pretty good and especially for the price.

Aroma is slightly sour and of bananas. Not sour bananas mind you. Pale golden and with a crisp white head. Some lacing. This is my 5th of the six pack I purchased and over time it has grown on me. And time it has been...the last two have been in the beer fridge for a couple months. Banana, slight fruit, and malt flavor.

350 mL bottle. Clear golden honey color with fizzy white head. Good aroma of banana and other fruits with a hint of yeast. Taste is banana with a hint of citrus and a slightly bready semi-dry finish. The taste doesn’t live up to the promise in the aroma, more or less average overall.

6 pack bottles. Pours bright golden, plenty of head, good lacing. Light fruits in the nose, malt, banana, floral scents. Flavor is strong in the spice, light fruits, great balance. No noticable alchohol sting. Great trippel.

Clear golden orange, almost no head with no lacing or retention. Aroma is very promising with big fruity, floral notes. Notes of citrus, spices and alcohol as well. Medium bodied with a fairly dry finish, some alcohol. Enjoyable example despite a fairly pitiful appearance.
