Commercial Description:
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Bottle. Pours a clear, brilliant gold with a fluffy white head that settles down and leaves some good lacing. Nose is sweet and floral with some spiciness. Taste is spicy malt with lots of different fruits. Medium body feels prickly on the palate. Finish is tangy and dry with some ethanol. I’m a Belgian novice, but this is very approachable and appealing to me.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a big white head. Lots of fruit in the aroma, apples and citrus. Nice combo of malt and yeast in a medium body. Nice trippel, though nothing special.

Pleasant yeasty aroma. Very light body. Tastes like Fat Tire. Gives me heartburn.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a large off-white head. Nice lacing and beautiful to behold. Aroma is dominated by a yeasty/dough with undertones of wet hay and soap--yes my glass was clean ;) Sweet throughout with a nice light bitter finish. A very clean and smooth beer, but one with enough character that I think I could find something new each time I try it.

Pours golden slightly orange. Huge yeaty aroma and some noble hops as well. Flavor is pungent with tons of esters. Lively and complex. Excellent tripple.

Bottle courtesy of Dubbercody, thanks again! Orange yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of light malts, orange zest, and some yeast. FLavors of Lemon zest, light malt, yeast and candies fruits. Light bodied with a dry/sweet finish. Pretty "meh"

Tastes remarkably like Fat Tire. Good news if you like Fat Tire, but bad news if you’re expecting a real belgian.
