Mar 26, 2007 pours a golden pale yellow. smell is slightly belgian. tatse is full bodied, but no too harsh. nice easy finish. easily my favorite new belgium yet.

Mar 17, 2007 Nice yeasty smell gets you ready for a great glass of beer. Full body with smooth aftertaste. Subtle but good hops presence. Enough kick to notice, but not overpowering.

Mar 15, 2007 Excellent beer. Looks hazy and cloudy in the bottle, and pours with a nice golden color. Spiced flavors and aromas hit you after opening the bottle and taking drink.

Mar 8, 2007 Bottle. Hazy, bright gold color. Very dense, off-white head. A nose of sweet malted spice (very nice). Spicy taste to the hops, with a medium, dry finish.Very, very good.

Feb 24, 2007 Aroma of yeasty bread and citrusy spice. Deep golden color with a white head that laces lightly. Starts with biscuity carbonation, backed with peppery spice, and some yeasty malt. It’s very smooth, and not too sweet. The alcohol impact is noticeable, but I don’t think it affects flavor, just warms. Seems to be a bit of vanilla in the long finish. Floral hop seems to be ever present, but the other flavors and aromas tend to overpower it.

Feb 16, 2007 Thrown in as an extra by irishboy. I thought this was very well done. Aroma was yeasty, sweet, and had some banana and spice coming through. Flavor was very light and had a lot of carbonation and bubbles on the tongue. Pretty nice on the palate. Easy drinking tripel.

Feb 10, 2007 To me it was very simular to Duvel but more palatable in my opinion.. im not real huge on the Belgian style ales as I have stated before, so I’m not sure it is really fair for me to rate them as I tend to hurt their scores with my ratings. I will say this, it was probably the second best Belgian style I have had other than Rochefort Trappistes 10, which I love.
