COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with white head. Spicy, clove, yeast, bubblegum aromas. Clean, yeasty, spicy, fruity, dough flavors. A really good year round beer that has held up well over the years.

Backlog from lost & found notes: Aroma is malty and bready, nuts, banana, coriander. Taste is belgo yeast style with a hint of banana and some citrus. Slightly spicy. citrus and grapes join in and it leads into quite a complex brew. Pretty good.

Bottle. Not much aroma at all. Mild sweet early malt aroma if I think about it. Taste starts a little astringent. Dried fruit, toffee. Mild herbal notes. Ok. Lighter and not as sweet as some triples. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smooth but really boring. The flavors seem suppressed and not as complex as a Trippel should be. I was hoping to be impressed, but really wasn’t.

Bottle Candy sweet, coriander, a bit funky. Sweeter than a typical Belgian trippel.

Bottle at home. Pour is clear golden-orange with a big white head and sticky lacing. Big spicy aroma - coriander, white pepper, grassy, slightly herbal, lemony, doughy, and basil. Taste bring a lot of black pepper, musty, Belgian yeasty, herbs, some biscuit malt, citrusy, and grassy with a spicy finish. Full mouthfeel with high carbonation. Easily one of the best American-made Tripels out there.
