Bit spicy/yeasty nose. Pleasant drinking ... warm and smooth ... apricot, yeast, tart finish are my impressions. Quite good. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Bottled. Pours a clear, light copper color with a large white head. Initial aroma is that of freshly cut sawdust. Other aromas are a phenol; yeastiness, apricot and peaches. Flavors are malt, peaches, some spice and some fruity esters. Clean yeasty finish. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 8, 2006 12 oz bottle. pours a light amber, with large head and very active carbonation. LIttle to no smell; maybe a slight underlying sweetness at the most. The taste suprisingly blossomed into a real citrus flavor, with quite an alcohol kick. If I had any complaints at all, it might be that it’s a bit on the fizzy side for me, but overall, an excellent beer. paulmetzger (152), Pocatello, Idaho, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 5, 2006 Malty, only mildly skunky aroma. Pale yellow with lots of carbonation. Sweet fruity flavors with a light musky finish. Didn’t really care for it, but it’s my first Tripel. JK (2949), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 1, 2006 This is a good tripel. Fruit aroma and lightly hopped. More fruit combined with alcohol in the flavor. Simple but pleasant. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA

Not as much as I thought it would be considering my love of their dubbel. But still a decent beer. A soft mouthfeel replete with moist earth and candi sugar sweetness and hints of deeper caramel. Highly aromatic hops reminiscent of Saaz. Better than average yet in the end, just so-so. zombywoof (358), Shawnee, Kansas, USA

And equally nice flavor of orange, mint and light hops. Tasty. Makes me very reverent. Nice finish- soft and dry with complex undertones KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

The taste isn’t that great. Its spicy, hoppy, tart taste withsome corriander pretty prevelant. Not very strong, but some apple juice taste with some too fizzy feel.
