Commercial Description:
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

pours light amber with a volcano of a white head. aroma is corriander, yeast, and seedless grapes. flavors of yeast , light pepper, and a milky caramel. very clingy mouthfeel. and the sweetness lingers in this one. it is still a good beer. just a bit outside what i look for.

Smells of the county fair: bubble gum and hay. Intriguing copper color; lacks a proper head. Upon first long pull, all preconceptions are blown out the window. Citrus and caramel explosion with a perfect carbonation complement. Smooth finish leaves you pondering when your next taste of this craft will be. A must try for all new Trippel explorers!

bottle from tannertavernboys. "flat" aroma if that makes sense, unlike a flat body. earthy and yeasty and musty. tingly caramel alcohol flavor but the tingle is not from carbonation; it seems to come from a citrusy spice. good beer, good tripel, but just typical for a belgian style brew.

Honestly, I don’t completely understand why this beer has such a good rating. The best thing that I can say about it is that it is fairly true to style, but, in my opinion, it’s not that good.

Hazy bright yellow in colour with a pillowy white head. Aroma is vaguely fruity and spicy. Taste is incredible. I can dtect mango and lychee. Very nice.

Grapevine Market- Austin, Tx - 12oz bottle. Pours a slighlty murky, medium golden with a faint, but sticky white head, good subtle bubble action. Aroma is not overly apparant, pick up a faint fish odor, some cotton candy and fresh lake water. Flavor has a little bit of bubble gum, some candied sugar and a bit of alcohol. Turns slighlty cloying near the end. Mouthfeel is sticky and thick, which is nice. Overall, decent, but not one for the ages.

Poured a dark yellow. Aroma was yeasty with some notes of leather. Flavors of some fruit, sugar, and hop spice with a semi dry finish. Light to medium bodied.
