COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

pours golden with a thin head.no lacing to speak of.aroma is bannana, coriander, malt and white pepper.flavor is bubblegum, orange zest, coriander and pepper.medium body, low carbonation for a belgium trip.has a long astringent finish and alchohol seems much higher than it actually is.average trip at best.there is a numbing im getting on my tongue and the roof of my mouth and cant figure it out.perhaps this was created by a dentist brewmaster?new belgium is new to michigan and this is the third product ive tried.so far new belgium is batting 1 for 3.

Best by date of 03.29.15. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip on 06.13.14. A: 2 finger head. See through gold body. S: Wheat, pear, funk, orange, and white grape. T: Pear, wheat, funk, and white grape dominate. Cloves and orange are subtle. M: Crisp and bubbly. Chewy. O: This was very complex and the alcohol was hidden nicely.

Bottle. Golden clear. Malty pale, belgy yeasty honey notes. Mouthfilling, golden malty, sweets but with bitters to leave a clean finish. Malty nice. Pretty clean, might be a bit better even if messier. Real good malt drink though.

bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Clear light amber with a 1" white head, curtain of lace. Aroma of hops and light malt. Taste is full-bodied malt that adds fruit and spice on the swallow, then opens the door for balancing hops. An untraditional Belgian - malt and spice and fruit, but also notable hops, even though they do yield again to the malt.

Bottle to glass, small white rapidly diminishing head with small floaters, that are to be expected from bottle condition.Light malt with banana and clove in the nose.Medium body, a little thin, good carbonation with a bitter finish that lasted. Not my style of choice but not a bad beer.

Golden with lots of bubbles, long lasting head, sweet funky belgian nose, sweet a little dry hint of hops, pleasant mouthfeel. Great Trippel, I just dislike this style.

12 oz bottle --> pint glass. 3+ fingers slinky head. Semi cloudy amber. Sugary baked apples on the nose. Dominant notes are equally sour and bitter, followed by subtle hints of white grapes. Not too boozy. Decent, it'll do in a pinch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottom line, up front...this is a good beer. It's just not a good trippel. From a bottle. An aroma of coriander with a hint of Belgian yeast. Taste is much the same with little remaining on the palate. At 7.8, this beer is not strong enough to be compared with some of the better trippels such as Golden Monkey. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
