COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Pours a five finger off-white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Malty/hoppy nose. Flavor begins slightly malty, some honey then some sour notes. Higher ABV is hidden. Best before Nov 2006. $1.30 for a 12oz bottle from Liquid Solutions Tigard, Or.

Bottled. Pours a medium golden color. Light yeasty flavor with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is somewhat creamy and malty with a little bit of graininess in there as well. Alcohol is well hidden.

33cl bottle. Poured out a nice golden colour with a medium white head. Very nice and light but maybe a touch too much hop for a tripel. Not quite a true Belgian but they’re getting closer. Enjoyable.

golden pour w/ a tall thick well laced white head. Lightly floral aroma not as sweet as I’d expect from a trippel, yeasty notes w/ some bread dough, well blended together. Palate is nice and fluffy well coated and lightly creamy in the finish. Flavor is sweet grains and candied sugars some bread doughes and honey notes as well as prevelant alcohol in the swallow.

Nice golden pour with a consistent white head and mild bubbliness. Tastes of floral and citrus tones, also a bit of yeast. Smooth to drink and medium in flavor intensity.

Just tried this today at a beer tasting in my package store then picked up a bomber to go- bright semi hazey golden colour with a fluffy white head. yeasty with bananna, clove and pear notes. Super fun, citrusy and generous with plenty of malt. very refreshing and clean throughout. One of the nicest triples ive had in a while!

Golden-orange in colour. Aroma is dominated by yeast, along with citrus and hops. The flavour is spicy, slight hops, quite yeasty, floral and wonderfully balanced. It finishes peppery and creamy. Thanks PhillyBeer.
