Appearance: clear light gold almost yellow with particles floating in it, thick and dense white head, laces well Aroma: lemon, bread, orange, refreshing, alcohol Taste: orange, plum, spice, alcohol, hints of hops particularly on the finish Palate: moderate c02, heavy mouth feel, kind of a plum and alcohol aftertaste Overall: a good beer, does not look like it tastes, even though the abv isn't that high for the style you get a lot of the alcohol taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

New Belgium Trippel has a fairly thin (wide-brim glass), off-white head, and a fizzy, clear, yellow-golden appearance, with a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of musty grain and some sweetness. Taste is of coriander spice, sweet bread, water, sugar, and some mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and New Belgium Trippel finishes dry, easy going, and surprisingly refreshing. One just does not pick up a heavy alcohol presence with this beer, although it is there. Overall, this is one of their good ones (because, they do have some bad ones, in my opinion). For $2.99 a bottle, it’s a good value. RJT

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with white head that leaves lacing. Aroma of orange, yeast, cream, coriander. Taste is orange, vanilla, cream, slight pepper, mild wheat, sweet cereal body, crisp light carbonation.

Poured from a bottle, an orangish color with decent head. Aroma is slightly hoppy, spices, citrus, sugar. Taste is sweet, with clear tones of the coriander and spices. Somewhat thicker than I expected. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really mild Belgian beer aroma and taste if that's a thing... Nice beer... Goes down with a slickness... The wife says it smells better than it tastes...she's usually right ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle; Color: Golden amber: Aroma: Sweet, Orange zest, citrus, sugar, herbs. Flavor: Taste is definatley of wheat or bread with sour notes and a spicy finish.

A - Pours a golden rose color. Small head dissipates quickly. A very striking beer. S - Sweet tart candy, cherries, coriander, faint yeast in the background. T - Moderate cherry fruit, coriander spice, candy sweetness, pale malt, tart pear, grassy straw. Finishes very sweet. M - Low carbonation, slick. Pros: Awesome cherry fruit flavors, Nice looking Cons: Thin syrup flavors. Weak yeast profile. Cloying sweetness. I probably won’t be picking this up anytime. It was not my idea of a good Triple. Very sweet, thin, and boring. Those tiny hints of weak yeast don’t cut it for a triple. They tried to compensate with the coriander but fell short. I guess not everything can be awesome. I’ve always liked this one. The coriander makes it unique, but it’s not so strong that it comes off as a cheap gimmicky additive.

Appearance is clear with dark straw color. Taste is high malt with light hop grapefruit.

On tap, clear light amber pour with medium sized frothy white head. Aroma of malts,spice and fruity esters. Taste of malt, caramel, yeast, coriander and spice. Medium mouthfeel and slightly dry peppery finish, very good.
