COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeusís daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Absolutely excellent! I could smell the aroma from the pour while I was standing up and away from the glass. What a great combination of flavors with a wonderful hop boquet. Itís a gloden color with a distinct cloudiness and plentiful white head and lace. Once again...excellent.

Deep gold. Nose of sweet malt, spice, bubblegum, and booze. Sweet syrupy malt, bubblegum and bitter alcohol. Pass.

Poured from a bottle bought at Binnyís in Chicago. Pours a light golden color with a thick, white, head that dissipates quickly into a light haze. Aroma of Belgian yeast, rich malt, fruit, caramel sweetness, mandarin oranges, cloves, and banana. Flavor is moderate caramel sweetness right up front with a faint hop flavor and low hop bitterness that both last throughout the taste. Belgian yeast funk is apparent and there is a mineral-like character to it on the back end. I also get a lingering raisin flavor on the end. Low but apparent alcohol. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. I was hoping it would be bigger but it was still a very tasty beer and I would absolutely buy it again.

Good easy drinking trippel with good flavor. Hints of spice and citrus. Pairs well with most bar foods. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is nice yellow gold with plenty of carbonation and a thin but lasting lacey head. Nose is slightly yeasty with coriander abut the taste is mild and lingers with a nice ending. Mild for a Belgium-style beer that has a slightly sweet and spicy aftertaste.

Bright golden color with a full spicy aroma. Lotís of carbonation and effervescence. The flavor has hints of spice/coriander and a lightly bitter finish.

Appearance holds a golden yellow color supporting a thin dissipating head leaving fair lace. Smell of Belgian spice from the yeast and light coriander. Taste has the same as aroma having a strong malt backbone and warming from the alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation.

Bottle from Ty. Nose is appropriate and spicy. Fairly full bodied and smooth up front until spice hits you. Mild though and not too bad but not amazing. Would settle for if I'm craving this style otherwise would move on. ---Rated via my mouth

355 ml bottle 7.8% abv. Pale golden colour with foamy head. Spicy malty taste, does not resemble your typical belgium trippel. A bit boozy, a little dissapointing imho.

(Bottle) Clear amber body with a big stiff white head. Aroma of banana and spice is strong; some bubblegum, wheat. Medium body; kind of flat. Flavor of clove, banana, wheat; a little muted; very sweet; alcohol is noticeable Iím the finish.

A nice trippel, considering it was purchased at a relatively lower end grocery store and one of the nicest beers they sale. I come back often to this beer for that reason, and the alcohol, though 7.8 % is not overpowering. Actually, I like this beer a lot. It is a favorite when at that store. New Belgium is a nice brewery with overall above average examples. I find the appearance and taste of this trippel a bit underwhelming, but it remains a nice example none-the-less.
