COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Bottle. Clear golden pour, little carbonation and some sticky lacing with a nice fruity/sugary nose. Flavor has nice sweet malty backbone, plenty of the fruity Belgiany yeast you’d expect in a traditional Tripel and finishes with some clove. Well priced 6-pack to pick up if you don’t want to spend twice as much for the real thing.

Appearance is a clear golden with moderate white foam cap. Aroma is citrus and clove, with a light breadlines from the malt. Taste is a sweet malt with a hint of citrus, honey, and herbal hops. Mouthfeel is light with a high carbonation. Finishes with a lingering honey sweetness on the tongue

"nice light but present hopping and spiciness lend a nice floralaroma to this beer. the flavor is a touch fruity, with the hops and yeast in the background. fairly straightforward, but good."

Clear golden color with small white head, coarse bubbles quickly disappearing, aromas of yeast, fruit and spices, good carbonation, creamy in mouth, slightly bitter finish, very pleasant

Taster at brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Not a lot on the nose. I get some of the Belgian yeast thing on the tongue but it’s pretty subdued otherwise. Finishes clean. Kind of boring.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear medium gold, with a small white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves a little lacing. Spicy Belgian yeast, coriander, a little citrus freshness and a touch of honey make up the aroma. Spice and citrus hops up front fade into coriander and spicy yeast in the mid-palate. More yeast mixes with honey in the finish. A nice crisp but complex tripel.

bottle. Poured clear golden amber with a moderate creamy off-white head. Grassy wheat, yeasty aroma. Medium-full body, almost creamy carbonation and not overly dry. Mainly wheat malt flavour with spices coming through, coriander, pepper and banana peel, but still has some sweetness to it. Alcohol well hidden.

Transfer from BA review on 5-25-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The brew pours a medium golden color with a one finger white heed. The head fades fast leaving a moderate level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is mainly of a bit of bready malt mixed with a spice of coriander. Some citrus notes of orange are present as well and are mixed with some floral and yeasty smells. A very light banana smell is there as well giving it a more mild but pleasant Belgian triple aroma. Taste – The taste begins with a crisp bready flavor with lots of citrus flavors mixed within. A lighter yeast taste comes in soon after the initial taste with some spice notes of coriander and some grassy flavors. Floral notes come to the tongue with a lighter alcohol flavor coming more toward the end. At its finish, a nice smooth and crisp lighter Belgian triple taste is left on the tongue. Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is on the average to slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the medium side. The lighter body and medium carbonation are great for the style and make a crisper and more refreshing brew matching the citrus, floral and light bready flavors very well. Overall – A moderately good triple with nice flavors and an easy drinking taste and feel. Matched with the moderate price for a triple, overall it is quite nice.

Bottle (12oz $1.50): pours golen, mostly clear. Coriander pretty strong. Used to be a regular for me before I started branching out. Overall nice trippel.
