COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Aroma is of Belgian yeast, banana, clove, and coriander. Appearance is clear and straw colored with a medium head. Tastes yeast, barnyard, banana, coriander and clove. Palate is dry, and champagne like. Overall a great beer for the price.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear, golden yellow color with a head that forms a thin moat along the surface. Aroma of coriander, Belgian yeast, candied sugar and honey. Flavor is somewhat sweet and dry upfront with hop bitterness in the finish. Well hidden ABV.

Pours a nice golden color with foamy head. For the aroma, you pick up hints of floral hops, dark fruits and yeast. On taste, you pick up even more from the notes of grapes, coriander and a bit of hops. One of my favorite Belgian styles of beer.

Bottle poured into a pint glass. I am not familiar with this style of beer. I have seen it at many breweries but there are so many good styles, but some not do good as well. I thing this one made it on my list ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle bought at Binny’s in Chicago. Pours a light golden color with a thick, white, head that dissipates quickly into a light haze. Aroma of Belgian yeast, rich malt, fruit, caramel sweetness, mandarin oranges, cloves, and banana. Flavor is moderate caramel sweetness right up front with a faint hop flavor and low hop bitterness that both last throughout the taste. Belgian yeast funk is apparent and there is a mineral-like character to it on the back end. I also get a lingering raisin flavor on the end. Low but apparent alcohol. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. I was hoping it would be bigger but it was still a very tasty beer and I would absolutely buy it again.

Pour is nice yellow gold with plenty of carbonation and a thin but lasting lacey head. Nose is slightly yeasty with coriander abut the taste is mild and lingers with a nice ending. Mild for a Belgium-style beer that has a slightly sweet and spicy aftertaste.
