COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Bottle: Poured clear golden with little bubbles flowing from the bottom. The taste was pretty hoppy. Some herbs and maybe a citrus at the end. Had a little spice in the aftertaste. On the palate it is like thin silk. Really smooth too. Pretty good beer.

Belgisk jäst i aromen. Likaså i smaken med viss inslag av humlen. Medel till kraftigt kolsyrad

Pours light copper and bubbly with a large foamy yellowed-white head that laces wetly. Aroma is cooked apples, banana, coriander and wheat bread. Taste follows but with tempered banana and added peppery spice and fruit esters. Boozy, bready malts and some spicy hops. Aftertaste leaves some bitterness. Moderate carbonation. Not a world class trippel, but a tasty Belgian style that is a price performer.

A relatively average tipple with musty esters from the Belgium yeast up front that slowly reveals a light pepperiness and as well as some citrus notes. It eventually ends on an astringent soapier note that, can be enjoyable for this style, is slightly overpowering here.

This is a delightful ale, with the coriander adding to the aroma and the malt flavoring. Hops and malt are well balanced. Light in color with a medium head, the medium to full bodied ale is very good.

Tasted on 4/13/14 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Craft Brewed. Pours clear copper golden with a thick, rocky white head that slowly recedes to sticky, rocky lace. The nose is spicy yeast, dusty hops, bread and touch of caramel malt, and a touch of earth. The flavor is a bit more bitter forward with the toast and hops, moving to the spicy, earthy yeast, and a hint of caramelized orange peel. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a medium bread malt and lightly bitter finish.

Sampled from 12oz bottle. Poured into goblet. Two finger whitish-head, clear and golden, lightly carbonated. Aroma of coriander and fresh bread. Taste is slightly bitter, faint spice, bready, moderate mouthfeel. Buttery aftertaste. Excellent beer!

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear deep golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is phenolic and slightly estery with biscuits, banana bread, pepper corns, baked pears, marzipan, hay and leamon zest. Taste is tiny sour, tiny estery and phenolic with unripe banana, pears, hay, pepper corns, dry soil, hay and hints of caramel and biscuits. Mouthfeel is soarkling, slightly dry, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sour and phenolic with unripe pears, lemon zest, hay, pepper corns and banana skins.

Good beer. Smell is spicy. Light color and thin head. Not hoppy and not malty, good middle ground betwixt the two. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with moderate head. Aromas of toasted malts, apple pie, and burnt spice. Flavors of esters, resin, dried bananas and raisins. Nice but a Belgian Triple? - not very close.

Rated on 4-01-2011 (Bottle) This beer pours a medium sized frothy white head that mostly diminishes, transparent yellow as the sun body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is yeast, citrus, sweet, fruity, suggestion of coriander, and spicy. The taste is moderately sweet, yeasty, fruity, and mildly spicy. The mouthfeel is lightly tingly and this beer is light bodied. This beer has a nice flavor, the ABV is well masked and this is a beer I would drink again.
