Commercial Description:
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Cloudy orange with tons of white foam that never dissipated. Citrussy and old fruit aromas, similar flavor. Very light and tangy feel, nice smooth finish. Almost like a hefe.

Appealing gold colour, thin lasting head. Aroma of banana, without being overwhelming. Sweetish flavour without being cloying, with a malty bite. Very soothing and smooth. It seems lower in alcohol than it is.

Pours golden slightly orange. Huge yeaty aroma and some noble hops as well. Flavor is pungent with tons of esters. Lively and complex. Excellent tripple.

Sampled on draught at the Papago Brewing Company tavern in Phoenix, AZ. Pours a semi-clear golden brew with an average white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of fruity golden malt, some apple, candi sugar, a touch of yeast and some flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of sweet apples, some yeast, golden grain malt and a touch of alcohol warmth. Finish is semi-sweet, a little alcohol character with some yeast aftertaste.

Very impressed with this beer. Full-flavored with tones of citrus with malty overtones. Got a little better as it warmed up a little.

Aroma lacks anything promising, just metallic. However, the taste is great. A great balance all around, although it is a little thin/light. Great yeast flavors and well crafted, but it would benefit from more malt and hop flavor. It is still fantastic, just doesn’t reach perfection.
