bgburdman9 (721), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 16, 2007 Thrown in as an extra by irishboy. I thought this was very well done. Aroma was yeasty, sweet, and had some banana and spice coming through. Flavor was very light and had a lot of carbonation and bubbles on the tongue. Pretty nice on the palate. Easy drinking tripel.
spikester (390), Salem, Oregon, USA Aug 21, 2008 I’ve not sampled many of this style before...Pours deep gold color with a very large white head and fair amount of lacings. Aroma is various spices. Taste is sweet malts, spices, bready, and some euro hops. Decent pour that is dominated by the malts and spices. Could use a few more hops IMO.
Hides 7.8% abv well except for the effects. Russo (476), Campinas, Brazil Aug 14, 2008 Bottled@Old Chicago Omaha,NE. This beer is very like our Bohemia Confraria here in Brazil. Golden Color with a nice white head. Aroma is Sweet and fruity as well as the flavor, with notes of caramel and spices. Mouthfeel is smooth malt. rayOfBeer (219), El Cerrito, California, USA Aug 13, 2008 Poured from bottle a light golden with a small off-white head that faded quickly. Nose is of yeast, bread, and light spice and bubble gum. Flavor is sweet with bubble gum, a mild spice, yeast, honey and caramel. The palate is mostly sweet followed by a soft mild spice and moderate carbonation. Overall, decent but lacks some in flavor and mouthfeel. Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 12, 2008 Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, yeast, and spices - especially cardemomme and a lighter touch of coriander. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, yeast, and spices. Thanks yespr for sharing. alraicercsu (70), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA Aug 12, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Clear golden color with a nice white head. Smells like medium fruit and spice, sort of cake like in aroma. Tastes of caramel, malt and yeast.
