COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Trippel Belgian Style Ale (pronounced triple) opens with a bold blast of hops that slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. The Three Graces hand-painted on the label are Zeus’s daughters Aglaia (splendor), Euphrosyne (mirth) and Thalia (good cheer). In the Belgian tradition of brewing singles, doubles and triples, Trippel is the strongest with the longest fermentation. Remarkably smooth and complex, our bottle-conditioned Trippel is spiced with a trace of coriander.

Nephilium (1445) - Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2012
This starts with an aroma of light fruit and sugar. It pours a light gold, with a thin white cap of head. Interesting flavor with the spice coming forward, with yeasty notes in the finish. Light on the palate, with a touch of a vegetable off flavor. It’s a drinkable beer, and could work well to introduce people to the Belgian style of beers.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a very small white head that dissipates very quickly. The aroma has a bit of banana, coriander, a bit yeasty, noticeably Belgian. The taste is full, sweet, fruity. Very subdued but very enjoyable.

Bottle: Dense, cloudy, vibrant golden body. Opaque from the haze with a fluffy, chunky white head that plumes up quite large. Aroma of baked bread, spicy yeast, clove, coriander, lemon zest, orange peel, banana, pear skin, & a light touch of gumminess. Flavor has reasonable balance of bitter & sweet up front. Zesty hop bitterness zings in & counterpoints the sweet yeast esters & bready malts. More notes of clove gum, coriander, & white pepper come out in the back-end. Cotton-like finish, drying but with a kiss of dying fruits; banana & pear, mostly. Yeasty mouth coating. Semi-thick body. Not bad, though nothing really stands out, either. Decent.

A golden beer with a medium and white head. The nose has peaches and fruits, quite sweet, some spices and coriander. Taste is sweet, fruitful, some spices. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Quite sweet tripel that could be more complex.

12oz bottle from Mike. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small foamy white head. All I got from the aroma was grain and sweet fruit. Taste of grain, sweet fruit, coriander, and belgian yeast.

Best by date of 03.29.15. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip on 06.13.14. A: 2 finger head. See through gold body. S: Wheat, pear, funk, orange, and white grape. T: Pear, wheat, funk, and white grape dominate. Cloves and orange are subtle. M: Crisp and bubbly. Chewy. O: This was very complex and the alcohol was hidden nicely.
