Draft. Blackish beer with a nice off-white/tan head. Light dark malt, tart aroma. Big tart flavor with berry (cherry) fruit and earth. Lingering cherry and tartness. Medium body. Nice.

Tap @ Toronado 4/18/07. A dark brown to black color but not the typical solid black that one expects in a stout. A malty aroma sits just on top of an immense fruit base. This tasted more like a tame version of La Folie (which was also on tap) with a sour intense fruit flavor but cut with chocolate and roasted malts. Quite nice but also a one trick pony.
