2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 mcberko (4053) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 31, 2013
On tap at Apex, pours a vibrant red with a small pinkish head. Aroma of cherries, raspberries and other berries – lots of residual sugars. Flavour brings out muted unsweetened cherries and raspberries, and some weird off-notes that detract a lot. Dry and fruity, but this one is all over the place – not sure what the goal was here. Not too enjoyable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 DarkMagus (456) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Pours a deep candy red color. Aroma of raspberry juice and a bit if sugary sweetness. Flavors were sweet, a bit sour, with lots of candy raspberry flavor. A bit of bitterness as well. Mouthfeel was not excessively rich, but very clean and refreshing. One if those "thirst quenching" types of beers. Definitely would be a hit with the ladies.

Tap at Tyler’s Carrboro. Deep lipstick red, hazy, small white lace. Nose is raspberry, rose water, plain water, light butter, little sweetness. Flavor is sorta minerally and tea like, medium bitterness and a slightly seedy sweet tart finish. I don’t know if Ernest has had this but I look forward to reading his review. Ain’t gonna be pretty. this is the Most exciting thing my local had on tap for american craft beer week. Lame.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ACHops (281) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Pours a dark reddish pink color with sweet fruit aroma. Taste is lightly sweet and tart with a crisp finish. The raspberries dominate here. Nice light hops balance. Not as dry as your typical saison. Extremely refreshing. If this is really 8%, it’s kinda dangerous as you wouldn’t guess it at all. I doubt I could drink more than one, but a perfect starter. This is what a fruit beer should taste like!
