Pretty decent cider. Actually had somewhat of a tart flavor and finished smooth with apple and caramel hints. I didn’t taste the sorghum, but I don’t really know what it tastes like so maybe I just missed it.

tap at MacNiven’s on Sep 1, 2013 - Smells of ripe apples with a touch of caramel. It tastes sweet but less sweet than many ciders. I noted mild woody notes for some reason. It’s bubbly and light to medium bodied with lingering tart apple and a little alcohol. Good cider.

Draft at New Day. From notes. Tart apples with a hint of caramel. Good, but not the best from here.

Draft pour. Darker gold in appearance. Still. I get a spiced apple pie presence in the aroma. Fairly sweet overall.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the New Day Bar (Indianapolis, IN). First visit. Great visit! Pours a rich golden amber hue, healthy haze and orange amber glow throughout. A frothy whitish head atop dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are sweeter, caramel and apple, gentle pie element and some mellow cider spice. Apple, honey, spice. Some pie. Initial is sweeter, a medium bodied offers rich apple, cider, and spice. Some gente caramel and toffee into the middle clears up quicker but makes it’s presence felt. More spice into the backend, some sweeter elements, a bit honeycrisp and more apple as we round the corner. A bit cidery, dry, and lively back there. Finish is lingering red apple, a touch of sweetness. Pretty nice, a bit sweet, a touch more body, but really what you picture from a Fall cider. Nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample on tap at the meadery. Mildly hazy golden orange color. No head or lace. Apples, lightly baked, hint of spice, light caramel. Lightly tart, more sweet. Medium-plus body. More dry finish. Light, kind of crisp carbonation. Easy to drink. Solid cider. Good for what it is.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent gold with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes of tart apples with an average mouthfeel. Okay.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Originally mis-labelled as from Three Floyds at the Dash-In in Fort Wayne, IN, this draft cider poured a small sized head of white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent weak yellow colored body . The weak aroma was of a light cider. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The weak flavor contained a soft apple note. Not one that I would buy again.
