Tap sample. Poured clear pale color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate aroma of tart apple and honey. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet apple flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met.

Bottle. Funky barnyard and apple aroma. Pale yellow. Sweet tart apple flavor with sour barnyard finish . High carbonation. Tasted okay when cold, but then had a burnt rubber aftertaste as it warmed

On tap @ the meadery. Just a wee shade darker yellow than the Gold Rush, with very fine carbo. Aroma of honey, wax, and apples. Sweeter honeyed palate, fresh apple, crisp and dry finish. Excellent.

Sample on tap at the meadery. Clear body, sort of colorless. Just a very pale yellow hue. Minimal white head. Medium body. Good light crisp carbonation. Lightly sweet taste. Bit of tart. Light cinnamon. Baked apples. Solid. I just prefer my ciders a bit less sweet.

Sampler at the New Day Bar (Indianapolis, IN). First visit. Great visit! Pours a firm chardonnay hue, gentle haziness and glow overall. A mellow frothy whitish ring atop laces small, sticks around small. Aromas are apple, a faint touch of funk. Mellow honey, bit of spicy cider feel but on the lower end. Some apple skin, gentle sweetness, earth. A kiss of honey, sweetness. Initial is fuzzy and well carbonated up front, some tart apple, quickly moving into a creamy sweet middle. Gentle honey, honeycrip apples give a touch of body and respite. Backend moves quickly back to a tart backend, dry and apple tartness, Granny Smith returns. A bit spicy, dry. Some jabs of sweetness from that mellow honey addition at times. Definitely effects the body a bit. Finish is a bit fuzzy, tart, dry and apple driven, a touch earthy. Pretty solid. The bit of sweetness gives a touch of body and bit of respite in the middle. Upping the complexity a touch. Gold Rush is still more my thing, but this is a very nice and well constructed cider.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a transparent light gold with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes of sweet apples with a good mouthfeel. Solid cider.

This bottled cider from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light yellow colored body. The weak aroma was of green apples. The mouth feel was nicely tingly at the start and at the finish. The yummy flavor contained notes of green apple cider. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Draught at Bluebeard. Light almost clear cider. Big taste of apple throughout. Slight tart. Some sparkling.

Bottle: Clear, slightly yellow, fizzy/sparkly. Apple, lemon, pear aroma. Taste is sticky sweet apple and honey. Almost a carmelized thickness to it. Very tasty.

Mostly transparent white wine pour, relatively nice lacing...white grapes and semi-tart apples, apple skins and honey on the backend... Medium carbonation mostly sweet with apples and honey. Solid flavor but ni\ot as crisp and clean as the Johnny chapman. Lighter bodied with semi-active carbonation.
