Draft pour. Pours a paler red. Still. The aroma is funky and fruity. Sweet on the tongue, but dries out quickly. Pretty good mead.

Sampler at the New Day Bar (Indianapolis, IN). First visit. Great visit! Pours a nice glowing reddish pink pour,f aint haze, rich glow and hues with a loose whitish pink bubbly head atop. Frothy small ring laces ok. Aroma are cherry, gentle sweetness, kiss of honey, floral, hibiscus. A gentle sweeter pie cherry appeal, mellow honey, bit of earth and sweetness. Initial is a bit fuzzy, mellow carbonation compliments some tart and sweet cherry, a bit of tannic cherryskin. Some melloow honey, bit of tartness, faint floral feel. Middle is spritzy, a bit tart, some gentle honey and cherry elements become more firm as we round the corner. Not thick or cloying, quite drinkable and light. Some gentle honey, cherryskin, clover, and floral elements. Mellow sweetness, tart cherry, light carbonation lightens the body. Pretty nice, a bit more fruity and tart, lighter body, the carbonation aids that tartness. Fun one.

Sample on tap at the meadery. Clear darker pink color. Little white head around the edge. More mild smell, honey, some cherry. Medium-plus body. Light, kind of crisp carbonation. Dry finish. Tart taste. Solid stuff

tap at Dash In last year - Pours clear orange and has a mild aroma of honey with a hint of cherry. The flavor is sweet, if anything maybe too sweet though not as overboard as the Oliver meads, with honey and cherries both apparent and blended well. There’s just a touch of carbonation. My glass could not be called lively. Overall it’s a very tasty mead.

Tap sample. Poured clear reddish amber color with good legs. Moderate to heavy berry fruity, honey and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a thick smooth texture and long legs. Medium to heavy sweet fruit and honey flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn.

Draft to taster. Looks good; the color of a watermelon Jolly Rancher with razor-thin white lacing. Smells and tastes of cherry and honey with a nice, light and dry finish that’s good on the palate. A decent carbonated mead.

(draught) clearish red/pink, sparse bubbles with decent legs. Nose is awesome, lacto, tart apples, cherry (real), sour nose in general complex and awesome. Taste is more straightforward, tart cherry and apple, light alcohol, moderately dry and well carbonated.

Pink-red pour. Aroma of cherry. Great flavor and very refreshing. A little tart, nice cherry flavor, smooth. Light body which allows some of the alcohol to show through. Very good.

(Growler pour) Tart cherry aroma, with the underlying honey note that is expected. Pours a clear light pink, with visible carbonation (no head). The honey notes are very pronounced, with a bit of the tart cherries coming out in the finish. Fairly light bodied, and easy to drink, with the carbonation helping to prevent the sweetness from getting cloying. Overall, this is an impressive mead.
