Can pours an orange yellow with white fizz. The aroma is musty Belgian pils, golden malts sweetness with a Belgian flair. The flavor is similar with tripelish character in a big golden ale. Nice musty green grape and white plum earthiness, slightly grassy hops, really nice malts. The lingering flavors donít change much but the moderate carbonation makes it slightly creamy with a tingle on the palate making the sweet maltier finish very smooth. Really solid brew.

Can shared by DrSilverworm - thanks again, Chris! Pours a hazy, pale yellow-gold with a small white head. The aroma is very malty - crackers, bread, pale, cereal, sourdough - with straw and pears. Flavor of sweet cereal and bready malts, dried apricot, golden raisins, pear, and vanilla. A hint of pepper. Medium-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Good, malty Belgian. Like a tripel.

12oz can... Thanks to Mike L. for this one! Shared with caterwaul and phaleslu. Hazy orange golden color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Some good pear, vanilla flavors. Moderate sweet taste. Very lightly spicy. Some moderate bitterness. Interesting, unusual stuff. Solid, interesting belgian strong! Stange, unusual.. But better than expected. Looking at the can, I see that itís brewed with some pilsner malts, and I see that now.. Works well. A nice light pepperiness to it.

Poured from a can into a tulip: Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon grass, funk pepper, and slight orange. Taste is Belgian yeast, barnyard, pepper and lemons. Light body, decent carbonation. Itís pretty good for a white.

Slubgob (195) - West Hartford, USA - MAY 29, 2014
Can into tall goblet. Hazy golden yellow, sticky white lacing. Barnyard funk mixed with tropical fruit in the nose. Full bodied, medium carbonation. Mix of yeast and banana note, occasional super note.finishes unexpectedly astringent which did at least course some of the bodyís stickiness.

Everything works until the end where the yeast gives up the ghost and a bitterness is the last impression you are left with. Nice efficient ABV but ever so slightly disappointing finish. Would buy the cans again but would pour in glass for presentation
