Commercial Description:
This is our flagship beer. The Atlantic is a medium bodied beer made in the uniquely American, steam styling of brewing. In “brew-guy speak” that means it’s brewed with lager yeasts at ale temperatures. Brewing a slightly sweeter, richer, caramel malt and two varieties of hops in this style makes for a truly unique flavor. Unique enough to make it an award winner at the 1993 Great American Beer Festival. You need this!

Can 355 ml
Appearance: Autumn gold with large finely weaved creamy cover.3+
Nose : Refreshing flowery meadow of hops, sweet malt gentleness.
Flavor/Palate : Nutty spiced ale withet character circa alt like. Aromatic hop abound and with vanilla oak tune. Spiced yeasty finish. Rare occurrence, should try if can.

It’s always fun to review, taste, and even recommend good craft canned beer as often as I can. Dubbed "canneries", these craft brew geniuses are creating beer of stellar quality and paving new roads to beer nirvana for future beer geeks.
I got a huge, gorgeously fluffy finger thick head of foam as I poured my Atlantic Amber into my glass. Soft and poufy, it looked like a cloud had landed in my glass - it was beautiful. More of an amber brown color, the head fades into scattered brussels lace along the sides of my glass with a small layer on the top. Grass, lemon, hop oils, and malt toffee in the nose. A very complex array of flavors just in the nose invites me to take a quaff. Sweet, creamy (almost like butter), lemon and tangerine effervescence supported with a sweet, toffee malt presence. Not an overly heavy body, but with enough weight to weigh on the mind and the taste buds. I can definitely feel the sourness of the hops on the sides of my tongue, along with a slight dryness which makes itself present about halfway through. Not a cloying beer, but instead slightly dry with a bit of the grass I got in the nose playing itself out in the dry palate.
Not too hoppy. Not too sweet. Well balanced and easy to drink.

Can from mcbackus. Pours a cloudy amber with nice off-white head. Sweet roasty nose. Flavor is nice and sweet from the malt with slight hints of roast and a bit nutty. Has a clean finish with just a hint of hops.

Big, foamy head on this murky, amber pour - it foamed all over, actually. Good, hoppy aroma. The flavor is rich with a solid amount of malty sweetness, which I think is normal for the style. There are hints of tobacco and molasses. A solid brew.

12 oz can via Slipstream. Pours a slightly hazy coppery amber with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of caramel, nuts and citrus. Taste is slightly tangy with hints of caramel, citrus hops and nuts.

Can at The Diamond: I was not sure if this was an Amber Ale or an Alt Beer, but a California Common? This was a style surprise for me. Deep copper pour with an off-white film for head. Huge nutty aroma. Crystal malt all over the nose. Decent texture-rounded feel. The flavor is a crystal malt bomb! Mildly sweet caramelized notes with tons of nutty flavor. Just a one-dimensional crystal malt bomb. Drink this if you’re in the mood for that.
