Pours amber with a white head. Smells of citrus, juicy, melony. Tastes bitter and melony with a crisp finish that is reminiscent of Gandhi-bot.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2015 In short: A highly aromatic DIPA bursting with fresh fruits. Highly drinkable. My type of DIPA.
How: Growler shared at post HF FoFA 2013 party.
The look: Cloudy dark orange body topped by a medium off-white head.
In long: Highly aromatic hoppy nose bursting with passion fruits, tangerines others. In mouth the beer offers a nice mouthfeel with a medium-to-full body and a lively carbonation. Taste lives up to the aroma. Fresh tangerines, fresh mangos, fresh ruby red grapefruits, fresh everything. This one packs a lot of flavors and those flavors have a great freshness quality to them. This Double IPA is along the lines of what HF and Tired Hands are doing. I had a lot to drink that night, and at this point ion the party my head was starting to spin, clockwise, must be the Coriolis effect.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2014 32oz growler poured into a Gandhi Bot tulip. Pours cloudy copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of a lot of resinous and grape-like hops plus a nice pale and caramel maltiness to balance it out. Flavor the same with so many hops. Smooth texture. A really good double IPA. Edit: New batch in May of 2014. The hops in this beer are insane. The flavor is so resinous, wine-like, and floral from the hops. NEBCO rules.

Draught at EBF, 3/22/14
Pale-golden body with some light amber tints, high clarity and a medium amount of white head with strong retention.
Great citrus and tropical fruit blend in the nose, hightly aromatic, and with a sweetness that seems partially malt-driven, but also from the hop fruitiness, almost reminiscent of cherries. Anyhow, not as malty as the Gandhi Bot, thankfully, and less leafy/earthy/woody of a hop presence. This one is all bright, crisp perfumey floral hop aromatics mixed with juicy tropical fruits. Alcohol and a touch of resin have a brief flash on the finish, but are otherwise very well-controlled. High strength of aroma.
Bitter up front, quite a bit so, with an almost wintergreen like floral flavor that slowly succumbs to a bit of malt sweetness and juicy fruit hoppiness. High carbonation helps break up the thicker than expected body but some dry pine flavors do emerge on the finish. Nicely dry and attenuated, though, despite the big body on it and drinkable, if perhaps a bit too aggressive for me, overall. Top notch aroma, though, that’s for sure.

On tap at Prime 16 - New Haven, CT. Airy fruit-filled aroma, starfruit, pear and almond paste. The clean wine and fruit hop flavors are fanatstic, but the light and balanced palate is exceptional. A pink pepper floral finish. Solid all the way through.

Growler: Thanks, Jason! Cloudy sunburst amber, dense & nearly opaque. Foamy white head. Chunky white cap. Huge mango & tropical aroma. Pineapple, passion fruit, florals, wet grass, a hint of lemon-lime. Gushing. Flavor is crisp; wet hop leaves, grass, a hint of green onion, grapefruit rind, orange zest, pineapple, mango, a touch of white pepper & bitter line towards the finish. Clean, hint of cracker malt. Great stuff, wow!

Sample from a growler. Super citrus and grassy herbal dipa. Tons of tropical fruits and grapefruit/lemon. There is a nice floral earthyness that balances things out. Great.
