Can: Hazy orange body with a semi-gray tinted, mostly white head that shows pretty good retention all the way down the glass. Aroma is stank-a-dank up front; heavy pine, grass, resin, & weedy pungency. Rivers of hop oil backed by some bitter citrus peel, orange & grapefruit rind. Herbal pepper on the back-end with not much malt to speak of in the nose. Flavor is largely ashy, piney, & bitter with the dankness & oily resin components toned down just a bit. Same with the citrus peel vibe; it’s there, but slightly more muted. Malt comes out a bit more, too; hints of toasted bread, faint caramel, & some buttery crackers. Herbal leafage, white pepper, & zesty, ashy hop cones lead into a bitter finish with just a small touch of resin left behind. Really nice DIPA, though nothing to lose your marbles over.

Half snifter pour of brightish orange with light off white head. Nose is citrus and resinous pine, more orange peel-like zest. Flavor is bright citrus as well, hop forward, moderate malt but not overpowering, mild caramel notes. More resin. It’s pretty clean and enjoyable.

Amber color, a little dark for the style. Not too bitter with great balance provided by the caramel malt. Light to medium bodied, very drinkable, and the carbonation level is just right. Spruce, grapefruit, resin hops. Similar to Heady Topper in the sense that it packs tons of flavor while remaining very smooth, even sessionable.

Can. Thanks Paul. Lemon and citrus. Lots of hops. Medium bitterness and Light body for a double. I’d call it closer to a 1.5x IPA than a double.

Can. Milky yellow pour with a white head. Big grapefruit hop aromas. A nice tangy bite with loads of grapefruit hop notes. Good body and mouthfeel. A bit on the unbalanced side, but still tasty.

Poured into a snifter. Pours hazy gold orange with a rocky light off white head. Aroma is quick to bring fresh grass to the nose. Taste is grassy at first but tropical fruit, like tender mandarins, follow. Finish is dry and bitter on the tongue.
