Can thanks to tectactoe. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a big foamy head that lingers nicely and forms a thick ring. Aromas are oily hops, pine, pineapple, oranges, flowers, and apricots. Tastes very perfumy and oily. Not as bad as others Iíve had but it makes it a little difficult to drink. Strong pine, citrus, and pineapple hops. Light sweetness with a moderate bitterness. Crisp, spicy finish. Solid but not great.

6 oz. @ RBNE gathering. Thanks Ernesto987 for giving me some of your ammo out of your craft beer automatic rifle, cheers!! Aroma is grassy, citrus, resin, herbal, spicy scallions. Real awesome aromas with the flavor living up to the nose.

Grapefruit, orange peel, tropical notes upfront. Then the dank hops kick in. Scallions, fresh cut grass, and musty garlic. This finishes dry and with a lingering herbal / grassy finish. Iím glad I waited to try a fresh can. Bold and pungentÖ. Awesome hop bomb of a DIPA. Cheers to the Connecticut crew!

Sampled @ RBNEG courtesy of Ernesto987. Pours a gorgeous red orange with a billowing white head. Big hop nose. Grapefruit, oranges and pine resin. Nice tropical fruit flavors with biting hop bitterness. Full bodied with a bitter finish. What a nice DIPA. How awesome to have this available to you.

12oz can from a trade. Clear straw pour with a small white head. Nose is sweet grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is fantastic, balanced pineapple, pine, grapefruit. Medium body. Really enjoyed this one on a hot day by the pool.

Ernesto987 supplied. Many thanks! To oversized snifter, it pours a sandpaper yellow with which a white-ringed head stood. Pictures sawdust, bone marrow, peach syrup, American hops, and rosemary. Dry and fulfilling.

Pour into Hopslam snifter. Hazy gold with a thick light head that quickly dissipates. Very strong floral hop aroma. Taste doesn't follow through though. Good, not great. Very carbonated mouthfeel

Pours a yellow orange with a large white head. It smells of citrus and some floral notes, hop flavor is fairly lower than what it should be, it still taste of a lot of citrus and some earthy notes.

Poured out of a can into a snifter. Aroma Bubblegum, pineapple, dank fresh and citrusy hops. Appearance Dark gold, tinges of orange and amber. Opaque. Thin creamy white head quickly dissipates; lacing lasts on the side of the glass. Low to moderate carbonation. Flavor Hop bitterness and flavors lead the way. As is not uncommon in highly-hopped beers, it is difficult to detect a distinguishable malt flavor, although itís no doubt there due to a quick venture into sweet flavors before once again being pelted with hop flavors and bitterness, which returns at the end and leaves a lasting impression in the jowls. Despite this being a double IPA, the flavors feel well-placed (not overly hoppy while still having a great hop presence, if that makes any sense.) Mouthfeel Mostly medium-bodied, although the hop bitterness makes it feel a bit more full. Smoothly slips over the tongue. Overall Impression Itís a great double IPA. Hits its marks on aroma, flavor and mouthfeel. Very drinkable, and the 8.8% is hidden well up front. If I was a douche bag (Iíd like to think Iím not), Iíd dock it for being opaque. Itíd be nice for the head to stay around a bit and to have a bit more carbonation to continue surfacing the nice array of hop aromas throughout the glass.
