3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. can from cletus. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma rolls from the can with grapefruit citrus, pine and perfumy hops. Some caramel malt sweetness is also there. The flavor has grapefruit citrus and resiny hops, toffee with some bready malts. This is not overly sweet. There is a good amount of hops with nice bitterness through the finish. I am really into seeking out craft beers that are in cans.

Drank a few ounces of this from courtesy of one of my buddies. Poured a medium-golden color with a white head. Aroma was a touch of grapefruit and pine, which translates pretty well in the flavor as well - a pretty good hop-heavy brew.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz can into a tulip...Dark gold pout with lots of head that has incredible retention but no lacing at all. the beer itself is not appealing, not drinkable looking...The aroma is light for a dipa but really nice. The almost perfect amount of pine hops and alcohol, not at all strong but gives off what you are looking for in a dipa. Not a ton going on complexity wise, but wets my palate...The taste is a touch down, the hops arenít as smooth comes off a little more harsh. again its a little bit of a one noter. Wish more was going on...The feel is pretty nice very sticky and this is an easy drinker.
A lighter and smooth dipa, but nothing that wows you. Worth trying if your around it

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can thanks to chswimmer. Pours a clear golden-copper color with a large foamy white head and good lacing. The aroma is rather citrusy and very hoppy, a little spicy even. The flavor is big and west coast style even. Very citrusy and intense. Just a little sweet malt. Medium-bodied, not syrupy at all, with a good carbonation level. Solid stuff, surprisingly good.

Slutfest 2013 can: Dandelion nose. Cloudy golden, thin head, full of fine floaties. Lilly flavor. Alcohol is rather noticeable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slutfest. Light gold, slight haze. Light citric aroma. Flavor is about the same. Not nearly as big as was expecting or hoping for. Loved the name and logo - wish the beer had held up to it.

12oz can, purchased at Wakefield Liquors - Wakefield, RI. Big juicy, spice resin, pine, floral and coconut aroma. Vibrant and fresh. It has that wonderful emergent bready, spiced warm grapefruit character. Flavors are rich and dense. Warmingly alcoholic, spicy, fruity, and intensely fresh tasting. Some gin and juniper. It edges a little sweet, but Iím really digging the quality thatís coming out of the can. Iíve really been craving a strong Double IPA, but refuse to buy anything thatís been sitting on the shelf for god knows how long. Fortunately, this just came in and has the protection of the can to keep it kicking. Good move, New England.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
(can - 12 oz) Cloudy orange pour with a thick and puffy white head. Fruit is the first thing you get in the nose followed by a juicy citrus hop note. Big hops for sure. The fruit and citrus come through first in the flavor with a ton of hops following it up immediately. Well balanced throughout and leads to a bitter and hoppy finish. Amazing.

I really like this ipa, good piney flavors, and a unique sweetness in the background, molasses-type.
